The space
A beautifully restored, 116 year-old California Craftsman home, located high in the Silver Lake Hills.
Built to inspire creativity and to entertain the senses.
Peruse the vast library...whip up a feast, compose a tune on the piano or guitar...soak in the hot tub...shoot some darts...relax on the deck, zone out on the views...
Countless architectural relics, many rescued and relocated from iconic, old Hollywood locations are built-in throughout the multi-level home.
Please FULLY read through ALL the following text before requesting dates.
HOUSE RULES:
1). T-Manor SilverLake LLC is only interested in booking 'quiet-minded' guests.
After 10pm, conversation and music must be kept at quiet, normal conversational levels.
The ‘Quiet Time after 10pm’ rule also extends to keeping noise levels down out in the street while coming and going from the home after 10 PM.
If your group plans on engaging in late-night drinking, revelry and some good old, ‘hootin’ & hollerin’ ....we totally get it and WOOT to you!
However, we’re sorry to say... this listing will NOT be a good fit for your group.
Your hosts, Al & Leslie, live onsite in a private, separate part of the same house.
…please do not assume that ignoring the ‘quiet time rule’ after 10pm will go unnoticed.
2). The booking guest named on the reservation is required to sign a one-page, ‘Innkeeper’s Agreement’ upon arrival at T-Manor SilverLake LLC.
The sole purpose of this agreement is to ensure check out dates will be adhered to.
Failure to sign the Innkeeper’s Agreement upon arrival will result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
3). PURPOSE OF TRIP:
With over 12 years of hosting on Airbnb, the hosts have concluded the following types of gatherings are typically too noisy and are incompatible with this listing:
* Bachelor parties or ‘ladies’ weekends
* Birthday celebrations
However….if the purpose of your trip IS one of the types listed above, and you have reason to believe your group can be the exception to these ‘conclusions’…PLEASE let them know and they will consider your thoughts.
4). GUESTS OF GUESTS:
Guests cannot invite visitors, friends or associates to the home, without prior consent from the hosts.
Generally, the hosts have no problem giving consent to have visitors come to the home…especially if it wraps up by 10pm.
Please let the hosts know your plans (regarding visitors) prior to booking.
5). GUEST COUNT:
The number of guests staying on premises is not to exceed the number of guests indicated on your Airbnb reservation/booking.
If extra guests need to be added to your group after booking, the reservation can easily be altered to include them.
6). THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS:
Third party bookings are not allowed.
T-Manor can only be booked by someone who will actually be staying at the property during the booking dates.
7). FILMING and LOCATION WORK:
Filming or content creation at T-Manor SilverLake LLC without explicit permission is not allowed.
If you are inquiring about in using T-Manor SilverLake LLC as a FILMING LOCATION, please contact the hosts to discuss your project.
8). PETS:
Pets are allowed under certain conditions along with an additional pet cleaning fee of $100.
Pets are NEVER allowed to be left unattended in the home unless they are PROPERLY KENNELED in one of the downstairs bedrooms.
Pets are not to use the furniture or sleep in or on the beds.
Cats are not permitted at this property for medical reasons.
Please contact the hosts prior to booking to discuss their expectations regarding your pets.
Keep in mind, the back yard is not fenced and coyotes DO live in the area, so guests are encouraged to keep an eye on their pets at all times when outside.
The front yard/patio can be contained so pets will not be able to run off.
9). DINNER PARTIES or EVENTS:
Dinner parties or events with unregistered guests are not allowed without prior consent from the hosts.
Again…most of the time, the hosts have no problem allowing dinner guests to visit, especially if it wraps up by 10pm.
Catered services are not allowed without prior consent from the hosts.
10). SMOKING:
Smoking/vaping is not allowed inside the house.
Evidence of smoking/vaping inside the house will result in the cancellation of the booking.
11). HOT TUB:
The hot tub is available until 10pm.
Later hours of use are sometimes possible if prior arrangements have been made with the hosts.
12). FRONT PORCH/YARD:
Out of respect for neighbors, groups are not permitted to congregate or converse on the front porch or front patio area after 9:30pm.
However, quiet INDIVIDUAL use of these areas is permitted at all times.
In the evening hours, guests are encouraged to use the rear yard when gathering outside.
OTHER USEFUL INFO:
CHECK IN:
Check-in is anytime after 3:00pm.
If check-in time is to be later than 6:00pm, please contact the hosts to arrange a later check in.
Your host Al, will personally greet all groups of guests, provide keys and give a quick, IMPORTANT walkthrough of the house to explain how everything works.
T-Manor SilverLake LLC is over 100 years old and the walkthrough is ESSENTIAL to insure the most pleasant, safe experience.
CHECK OUT:
Check out time is 11:00AM.
Before checking out, guests should restore the house to the closest condition in which it was found; kitchen counters cleared, dishes washed and trash taken out.
Sheets and pillowcases can remain on the beds.
Towels can remain in the bathrooms.
Later check outs are sometimes possible. Please inquire with host to confirm a later check out.
CAMERAS:
There are two Ring security cameras set up outside the front gate, covering only the public sidewalk and street traffic.
These cameras are recording 24/7.
There are no other cameras set up or recording anywhere else on the property.
HOSTS:
As mentioned above, your hosts (Al & Leslie) live onsite in a separate, private, self-contained suite of rooms.
The hosts have their own separate, private entrance and gate.
Generally, after checking in, you will not see your hosts again... except for maybe coming and going on the street.
USE OF GARAGE/WORKSHOP:
Hosts reserve the right to use or work in the street-facing garage/workshop, in front of the home.
This will not interfere with the guest’s privacy in any way.
PARKING:
There is plenty of free, unrestricted street parking.

Guests can use all areas as described in the listing; a full private kitchen, living and dining rooms, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, front and rear yard.
