  • We were in Milan in Max's apartment from 28 to 31 May with a group of friends. It was the first time we tried Airbnb and we were very happy and surprised that it was such an excellent experience. The apartment has the perfect location to the airport, the city centre (metros and trams) and the cozy Navigli restaurant area. We arrived by car, so the parking place 30 m from the apartment was very well received. Max's place was everything we wanted - Italian rustic, nicely decorated and perfectly equipped. I agree with other reviews, that it looks exactly like in the pictures. There are many beautiful restaurants very close to the apartment and we enjoyed all Max's recommendations. Max's apartment was the perfect choice and set the Airbnb standard high ;)
    Warmly recommended!

  • We were in Max's apartment from 10 to 14 May. For the very first time in my life the four of us used this type of accommodation in any city. And, I can tell you that it was an excellent experience. First of all, the apartment is in a great place with excellent connections to the airport, as well as with all the metro lines. Max's residence is a small, rustic, nicely decorated and has absolutely everything you need. It looks exactly like on the picture. We enjoyed long walks in Milan during the day and evening in beautiful restaurants very close to the apartment. Dear Max, could not make a better choice than your apartmen in Milan. Here we are again very soon!

  • Max is great. Excellent communicator. We loved the flat, great location, small and quaint. Just a 2 minute walk from Porta Genova metro stop, and just steps from tbe Naviglio Grande. The kitchen was ample enough to cook in - which we did- and the bathroom, though small, is efficient. Very nice stay!

  • the appartment is small (we were two with a small child), but it has everything you need. The location is great and Max super friendly. I would recommend this place.

  • Clean apartment in a great location. Photos are a true likeness of the property. Max was easy to deal with and very accommodating.

  • Our stay was over the new-year period in Milan, so many of the shops and restaurants were closed and the outdoor vibrant atmosphere, we imagine typical of warmer seasons in the Navigli district, was largely absent.
The apartment is well located off the Grande Canal, right near the metro and no. 2 tram into the city centre and a short walk to the Ticienese district. Arrangements to access the apartment were easy and efficient - and the heaters were on at arrival.
Where others have described the apartment as having charm and character, our experience was that it is old, tired and in need of attention. The windows do not seal, the appliances didn't work and the furnishings were of odd sorts. Little touches like toilet paper and washing detergent would've been nice and, as others have pointed out, the shower is ridiculously small and impractical. The bed is however comfortable and a fridge, basic crockery and cutlery is provided. We would stay elsewhere on any future trip to Milan however the apartment would no doubt be more habitable in summer.

  • We stayed at Max's apartment for a couple of weeks and it was perfect!

The area is the best, well-connected to everything and full of bars and restaurants. The building is simple but nice, with personality. The windows overlooks a typical Milanese patio and the subway is right outside the door.

The bed is VERY comfortable, the shower a bit small but works perfectly fine, the closet is huge, the Internet was fast and there's a supermarket nearby. The kitchen is very well-equipped.

Also, Max was there for us and that's a great value. He's very communicative and helpful, nice and caring. The kind of guest that makes everything easier.

  • Romm is clean, especially the bathroom. fascility is fine, there are washing machine, microwave and no flame burner, infact I never use them as I donot need them on my stay.
He even provide a guide/ manual about the apartment and location, which is great for people that come for the first time.

Location is perfect, very close only about 50 metrs to Metro and about 100 meters to Porta Genova station. It is also close to the Navigly river where you can find good food along the river side, especially they are crowded at night. If you like wine you can easyly find just in the opposite of the apartment.

They do not provide breakfast but yiou can get capucino + brioche for E 2.2 for about 30 meters walk, just on the upperside of the Metro gate.

The only minus for me is the shower booth that is a rather small, should it another 20 cm larger than it is perfect, anyhow you will be only about 5 mintues in there.

Overall, this is a perfecvt accomadation to stay, especially if you are there for holiday or business, as you can go almost everywhere from there (using the Metro) without problem. To be economical i suggest you purchase a two full days Metro card costing E 8.4 which is very good as you can travel without limit for the two full days using Buss, tram and metro.

Thanks Max, you have a nice apartment location, recomended to everybody that plan to short stay in Milan.
