Tom's home is a gem. Very private, but spacious and open - a perfect place to unwind, relax, and do . . . . absolutely nothing!! It was fantastic to open up the master bedroom doors and watch/listen to all the birds in the mornings. As other reviews have stated, the house is bigger than it looks in the photographs. Scott's head itself is a sleepy place the world seems to have forgotten - at times we could've sworn we were back in the 1960's. We even had the beach to ourselves one evening.
We stayed at Tom's place over the Christmas ,new year period and had one the most relaxing ,invigorating holidays ever.
When we first arrived we were totally stunned the house is amazing ,the picture on airbnb do not show how spacious modern and refreshing the layout is.
The house is equipt with everything your could ever need, with the added advantage of being all top quality and sleeping in the main bedroom with the doors open listening to bush noises and the clear sky was heavenly.
Did not need to contact Tom as everything was in place ( all the numbers for Tom and his brother were there quest in case )
We use Airbnb for all our holidays and this one is at the top of our list
We had a fabulous stay over the Christmas period. Tom was very helpful and prompt with any communication, he is a genuinely nice guy. The house and garden are gorgeous and we even got a visit from a little kangaroo. Scotts Head is very quite but that was exactly what we were looking for, we even had Little Beach to ourselves one day! I would recommend staying at Tom's house if you want some peace and quite with beautiful surroundings and a first class host. Thanks Tom :)
I spent four weeks in this beautiful light-filled home in Scotts Head that overlooks the bushland and happily recommend it to anyone. My only regret is that I was so busy working while I was there I didn't have time to fully explore the incredible surrounds of Scotts Head - there's so much to do: surfing, bush walking, scuba diving. And the coffee and cuisine at Cafe Cruz Yunabunga Cafe are deeelicious. I will definitely be back.
We had a great time in Scotts Head. Tom's place was very comfortable and a lovely place to have a relaxing stay at the beach. There was some beautiful local seafood in the area and the houses open plan layout meant we could enjoy our meals at home at night. Tom was prompt with communication and gave us detailed information about the local area. Cant wait to come back next time!
We loved our one week stay at Tom's place. The house is modern and well designed and we had a wonderfully relaxing time enjoying the cool breezes that filled the living areas of the house. Perfect for holiday reading (and a little midday dozing!). The yard was great for our kids to play in and waking up to the bush was a great way to start the days. We ate in every night as the kitchen was such a great place for a chat while preparing meals. Tom was prompt and clear in his communication and just a super helpful and friendly guy to deal with. He really made sure we were well set up and comfortable. Finally, Scotts Head is a great place with the choice of a couple of beautiful beaches and a nice little bunch of shops selling everything you need.
The reservation was canceled 40 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Tom is a great guy with an awsome place.
He went above and beyond to make sure that my family had a relaxing stay and was most accomadating and understanding.
Right now im missing Scotts head no end and cant think of anything bad about our experience at all.
If you are looking for a perfectly secluded beach home, this is the ideal place to stay. The home is bright and airy so we felt like we were always outdoors. Tom is a very genuine and friendly host and we felt privileged that he not only shared his home with us, but also took time to point out all the best spots to enjoy at Scotts Head. His communication was always prompt and reassuring. Highly recommended.
Tucked down the end of a cul-de-sac, this place feels like a real retreat. Overlooking the bush and creek, you have fantastic privacy. The place is very spacious and has fantastic views from the living area, and bedroom. Tom was very kind and helpful in giving us information on things to do/where to eat etc. There are family-friendly beaches very close, as well as shops/a restaurant etc. And, as Tom promised, we had visits from kangaroos in the backyard almost every night!!
