A popular, family-run flower farm (open in spring and fall months) now offers its guest house for peaceful, cozy, quiet stays year-round in a unique and remote setting. Come learn why the "slow travel" and "forest bathing" trends are on the rise! Here in a clearing in a woodsy patch of land near where flowers are cultivated and harvested, enjoy a fully equipped cottage for up to four guests. Guests love to dine on the screened porch! Full kitchen, private bath, laundry room & cozy spaces await!

The space
You are staying at a guest house originally built to accommodate our out-of-state parents when they would make extended stays with us and their grandkids, and now we equipped to share with you! It is walking distance to our family's active flower farm (with spring and fall blooming seasons). You'll get the whole guest house and lots of outdoor room to roam!

Guest access
You have the guest house all to yourself. Our favorite spot there is the screened front porch, with its comfy, deep-seated rockers and small dining table with seating for four. But the main reason people visit us is for the flower farm, a short walk down a private lane and across a two-lane road. You are free to explore the rows of cultivated flowers, and sit with a book. (Except during times it's reserved for private events). Meanwhile, the guest house has its own private grounds, wooden bench swing, cafe table in the garden and places to spend a gentle afternoon.

Other things to note
The best times to visit St. Rose Flower Farm are in spring and fall. Peak bloom times are April, May and October. As you'd expect, the flower farm is largely dormant late fall through early spring. We remain open year-round however as a jumping-off point to visit scenic and culturally-significant South Louisiana, here in what we call Sportsman's Paradise, complete with numerous festivals throughout the year.
