Cozy Room in Historic House

House - Private room · Hulgårdsvej, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2400, Denmark

The Space

The guest room is large and has been recently painted and decorated. It is upstairs near the bathroom. Downstairs, you will have use of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We also have a private garden behind the house that's very nice for relaxing.

Your hosts will be a Danish/American couple who can provide information about the area and suggestions about sightseeing.

The house is 4 km from the city center and only a block from a bus stop. The city center can be reached by taking bus 2A to the central station/ Tivoli/ town hall area.

We have free parking for your car. We are on the 02 ring road so it's easy to get here by car or public transit.

Our house is a "preserved building" with the outside looking the same as it did in the 1920's. The interior is typical of a normal Danish home.

Grocery shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Nearby restaurant choices include Thai, Sushi, Mexican, pizza, hamburger, Indian, and more.

  • My friend and I really enjoyed staying in David´s and his wife´s house in Copenhagen. Even if the house is not directly in the centre of the house it was no problem to get in the city by bus in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for the interesting conversations and the delicious pizza!

  • A great place to stay while in Copenhagen, David's sightseeing suggestion was wonderful, we really enjoyed the village and he went out of his way to help us with our computer problems. Thanks once again

  • Hosts and home were superb. A large room in a quaint historic clean home. We had great conversation with both hosts and they had tourist pamphlets with information about what to see and where to go. Only downside is about a 10 min bike ride or bus rode from downtown, but no problem with bikes that we rented. Would stay with David again!
