  • This is a very pleasant apartment that has everything you would need to a short stay in Rome. It is fairly centrally located--you must ride 15-20 minutes on a tram or bus to get to Piazza Venezia, and it is easy to get to the airport from Trastevere Station. The neighborhood is fairly quiet--we went to Trastevere for dinner each night. There is no balcony (it is on the ground floor), but there is space to sit and relax in the apartment. We were pleased with our stay--it was clean and the owners provided helpful info for travellers.
Also, please do watch your belongings on crowded public transport. I was robbed---I had been warned, but it happened to me. Be very very careful--and do not take mucgh money or essential documents with you when you are out.

  • Domenico's place was really spacious and more accommodating than we expected. Although it is not directly in the city center, we found that figuring out he public transportation was part of the fun adventure. Domenico was also very easy to communicate with, and was very flexible when we were lost and late upon our arrival in Rome. The apartment was a little cold, but extra blankets were provided to mediate this at night. Only real downside was that the shower is a little quirky-- the shower head is fairly short and is not tall people friendly, and the water takes quite a long time to heat up. No spur of the moment showers there! Overall, especially for the price, I would suggest staying here.

  • Apartment has an absolutely wonderful location near to one of the greatest areas in Rome but still it's quiet and peaceful. Domenico and his son welcomed us and guided us how to use necessary things at apartment. He also gave good guidance how we reach the apartment. Me and my family were so happy to stay in his apartment and would love to recommend it to everyone whose interested on visiting Rome and staying close to local people.

  • Domenico's apartment is a wonderful place to stay when in Rome. It is close to the Tram stop (and near Trastevere Station), which makes getting around very easy. The area around the apartment has a lot of amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores, and fruit stands.
When we arrived, Domenico's son met us at the apartment and took the time to explain everything to us including how to use public transportation and where we could find the essentials. Domenico was very good at getting back to us by email whenever we had any additional questions. We were in Rome for six days and had a fantastic time.

  • We stayed here this past weekend and had a nice experience. Domenico always replied to our messages immediately and helped us a lot. His wife gave the keys to us and her English was perfect. The apartment was clean and well equipped although the furniture are so old as you can see in the pictures. It is not close to the metro but there is a tram station and several bus stops close to the apartment (about 5 mins). The apartment is really large. There are two spacious bed rooms and bathroom is also large. So all in all I recommend this place.
