▪️Codes: Access codes and detailed directions are provided close to the rental time period.

▪️Please make yourself at home.

Other things to note
● Cabin: Please remember that you're staying in a cabin, not a hotel. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.

● Winter roads: Please plan ahead for winter travel. AWD or 4WD is suggested. In the winter, the many roads are dual use - snowmobile and vehicles.

● Summer roads: You will need to drive about 1.5 miles on a dirt road with road base.

● Winter Travel: For a smooth and safe trip in snowy conditions, we recommend using a 4WD, AWD, or snow tires.

● Road Snow Removal: The snow removal service is invoked after each 6 inches of accumulation, but sometimes it takes time after a storm for removal services to get around. Island Park can get 1-20 inches in a storm.

Some GPS's have been taking guest to "Glen Tree" not Pine Cone - even though the guest asked for "Pine Cone".

Please be sure you are on Pine Cone, not Glen Tree. Glen Tree is 1 road North. Some maps show it as "Road" and some "Drive". both should work.

***Summer: access from East or West side of Pine Cone Rd.

***Winter: access from West side only. The East side is plowed less (or not at all) in the winter.

I bought this log cabin seven years ago after growing up camping nearby, and it’s been special to me ever since. Nestled in the woods, it holds memories with my dad and my wife’s family. I love woodworking and in 2025 built the 8-ft kitchen table from a fallen tree on the property. When I’m not hosting, I’m here ATVing in summer or snowmobiling in winter. Family means everything, and I’m glad to share this place with you!
