Kingsize bed, unlimited wifi, central, W1, sofabed, washer dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, shower, bath, Netflix, clean, modern
This is a 1-bed apartment in excellent decorative order. It's modern, clean and pleasant to be in. Everything is ready to make this a comfortable and convenient stay. There's an incoming phone line and wifi.
You'll have a great time as the property is in the heart of Fitzrovia, a very desirable part of Central London (W1T 4BL). It's a wonderful and safe neighbourhood with lots going on.
The flat is situated on an upper floor (with lift) of a secure, recently renovated, residential block.
Situated at the rear of the block, the property is quiet for sleeping. The property comprises:
Kitchen: open plan with the living room, with beechwood units, chrome fittings and terracotta floor tiles. There is a breakfast bar with bar stools. There is an electric fan assisted oven, hob, s/s extractor fan, washer-dryer, dishwasher, s/s sink, separate fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee machine and ample storage space.
Living room: with large new sofa pulling out to a double sofabed, table and chairs, flatscreen TV/DVD with freeview and a portable stereo. The TV unit contains our favourite DVDs. The windows are double glazed and fitted with blackout blinds.
Double bedroom: with a double bed, a double mirrored fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. There are full-length white curtains and blackout blinds. Linen, towels and a hairdryer are provided.
Bathroom: with WC, handbasin, full sized bath with power shower, bathroom cabinet, iron and ironing board.
Located in the heart of the West End, there is easy access on foot or by tube to tourist London. All Central London museums, including the British Museum, are a walk away. Warren Street, Euston Square, Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road tubes are close by. Regent’s Park, Covent Garden and Oxford Circus are within a 10-minute walk. The City is a 20 minute door-to-door tube journey.
The local area is buzzing but the flat is in a quiet street so you get the best of both worlds. There’s a huge array of bars and restaurants in the area, including in nearby Charlotte Street and neighbouring Soho. Theatreland is close by, as are numerous cinemas, comedy clubs, late night bars and clubs (none close enough to disturb the flat!)
There’s a wide choice of supermarkets in the area, including a good Sainsburys, Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall and Waitrose isn’t far.
If shopping appeals, you can shop til you drop in nearby Oxford Street, Regent Street, Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, Camden Market and Bond Street. They are all a walk away.
For outside life, neighbouring Fitzroy Square is a peaceful and pleasant place to enjoy a sandwich and watch the world go by. Alternatively, it’s a 10 minute walk to Regent’s Park, a wonderful 410-acre open space offering stylish gardens with cafés, rose and wildlife gardens, a boating lake, sports facilities, an open-air theatre and zoo.
The apartment was everything that we wanted for our trip to London. It was the perfect size for three adults. It was very clean and contained all major appliances. The location was great. Plenty of shops, restaurants and other activity nearby. It was also a few minutes walk from the tube and bus locations. Liz was super. She was very responsive to our communications and was available if needed to assist. She provided us with good local information that was invaluable. We highly recommend this flat for the perfect getaway while in London.
liz's apartment was small but very clean and convenient. The distance to Oxford street was about 20 minutes walk. The area is nice and pleasant. Liz and Jack were very kind and responsive before and during the stay. However, The wifi kept disconnecting and they didn't know how to operate the netflix. My biggest disappointment, though, was Liz's demand to charge us a late checkout fee starting from 30 £ for 3 hours and up to 70£! For 7 hours. I asked if we could just leave our luggage, closed, in the apartment so she can have it cleaned as she wanted, but she refused.
I have to say this is not my first experience with apartment's rental, and in all other cases the hosts (if the apartment was available) allowed us to leave our stuff behind and not 'shelp' it with us for a full day in London
We had a wonderful stay at Liz' apartment. The area is quiet, yet is just a few minutes walk to really nice restaurants and pubs. The same goes for public transportation, it is easy to reach from the flat (even though we walked to most places). The apartment is light and has nice furniture. The kitchen is well-equipped with stove, fridge/freezer, micro-wave, dishwasher, washing-machien, pots, pans, dishes and silver-ware. There were even some sandwich bags etc.
The wifi and TV worked just fine, and in the TV-cupboard there were a hairdryer and AC-adapters among other things.
We had some nice weather during our visit and we loved sitting on the terrace, chilling a bit after walking, walking, walking in London. Please note that it is only about a 15 minutes walk to Oxford street.
Liz is a wonderful host. We did not get to meet her, but her instructive e-mails and information material were just perfect. And she answered our e-mails very quickly, both when we were at home and when in London.
My friend and I had a really wonderful stay here during our week in London! It is lovely, clean, cozy, and very conveniently located, a short walk to the tube station, shops, and cafes and restaurants. In addition, Liz was so generous in providing much helpful information concerning our stay and was very prompt in responding to our e-mails. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment!
Nice, small and cosy flat. Excellent location and Liz was ever so prompt and helpful with everything. To be recommended.
Nice Apartment. It is clean and really really central and convenience to everywhere, oxford street, warren street, euston square and so on. We never used the transportation other than walk within the days we lived there.
However, i think the privacy is not quite well because there is a workplace in the opposite building, people might look what you are doing.
Generally, i really love this apartment and Liz is helpful.
Great location, sweet flat. Liz was very helpful, the entire communication was fast and efficient!
There are few better locations to be in Central London, and the flat is comfortable and homey. I will stay there again!

We are Liz and Jack. We look forward to welcoming you to London. We manage seven holiday let properties in Fitzrovia, central London, as well as several long let properties.
We know the area well and can thoroughly recommend it for its central location, great transport links (although you'll probably be mostly on foot as tourist London is very walkable!) and wide choice of bars and restaurants. It's a highly desirable neighbourhood with beautiful architecture and interesting streets. People come from all over London to enjoy some Fitzrovia life. We're lucky enough to be based here and hope to see you here too!
We have been letting our properties for the past 8 years (and through Airbnb for over a year). We hope we've perfected a warm and professional welcome. We're very happy to help with questions (before or during your stay) or to tailor any trip to suit your needs so just let us know if there's anything we can do.
We look forward to seeing you in London!
