Anton, Linley and Rosie the sweet, Westie dog were gracious and thoughtful hosts. Their home is comfortable, beautiful and so is the neighborhood. The breakfast served is delicious and although they are vegan, they provided organic, grass-fed milk and organic butter. The croissants, bread and muesli and fruit were delicious. Also, the view from the breakfast room is gorgeous with little birds going to the feeder and ospreys and herons visiting the harbor, as well.
The bedroom was perfect and there was a toilet outside the room with the shower and another toilet upstairs for our use, as well.
If you are looking for a private, sanitized environment, you are better off in a chain hotel. If you enjoy getting a feel for the local area with locals at an affordable price, this place is perfect. This was our first Airbnb experience and it was great. Thank you!! xo
If you are to visit the Hamptons area - this is the place to stay!
Anton and his wife are hospitable and lovely. We have a nice evening chatting a bit with Anton and enjoying the sunset from the rear deck of the house overlooking the ocean. The place is amazing, with ocean views in three directions. The house interior is great, with lots of nice touches all around. Check out Anton's bespoke furniture, he used to be a furniture maker. Plenty of beautiful plants and flowers gives the place it's final touch! Breakfast was really nice - with fresh croissants, fresh fruit, musli etc.
Sag Harbour area itself is pretty, quite small but less posh than the East- and Southhampton. And close to all the main attractions of the Hamptons.
Anton made us feel so a part of his gorgeous colorful home, he could not have been more welcoming. The house is as pictured, right on the waters edge, a perfect way to start your day in beautiful Sag Harbor. Bed was comfy, our bathroom was great and getting up to breakfast a real treat. What you don't see in the pictures is that the house is just filled with flowers and art and that Anton and his wife are very warm and kind people. Thank you both so much for a perfect few days, we can't wait to come back!
Anton and Linley are lovely people and their home is quite special. My daughters and I stayed in the Queen Room and had plenty of space for the 3 of us. We enjoyed exploring Sag Harbor on foot with their beautiful home as our nearby base.
Just can't tell how amazing our experience was! The house is very cozy, and the view is fantastic, the whole place is much more beautiful than the picture shows, you can sit on the balcony for hours to watch the sunset and never want to leave. Captain Hagen is a very easygoing, interesting and helpful person, he made the experience even more pleasant. Definitely try the bike and kayak, you won't regret it. We miss it already and will definitely be back!
