Menlo Park has an ordinance on overnight parking (prohibited between 2am-5am). You may apply at the city for a permit. Ask me in advance if I have space in the driveway. Transportation is really convenient and we welcome you to park your bicycle in the garage.
These guys are awesome!
A tight budget, short time to arrange the trip to California, scientific background that usually means late arrangements - it was clear that my only option left was AirBnB. So I contacted several owners with houses close to Stanford campus. Only Vic responded. It was a bunk bed offer. You have to be young or desperate to sleep in a bunk one whole month. I surely was not young. We both insisted on details, I was stubborn and he was on vacation with his lady. However, all my questions got answered very promptly. We worked it out. The price was awesome. Vic send me contact details of the other guy who took care of me while I was getting there (thank you Vinh).
Menlo Park House is just as described. It has a very modern, but cozy arrangement and its pleasant atmosphere is the very first impression. But the best part there are the people. I enjoyed every day. Regardless of high turnover, community of the house functioned as a big, multicultural family with lots of interaction and social events - pubs&clubs, different types of events and sport activities. Vic and Vinh seem to manage all this effortlessly.
I have 302 words left...It is way more than I need to say: Thank you guys, I will always recommend your business and I will give my best to meet with you again.
The stay in Menlo Park was great! Even though Vic was away for holidays, he wrote emails to check that everything was alright and if there was anything he could do. Vinh dropped by almost everyday for the same, as well as to hang out. Their attitude is very welcoming, the service was super, and the stay was very comfortable. The atmosphere in the house was very nice, lots of different people and nice BBQs in the backyard. I would surely recommend it!
This BNB was terrific. Vic was very organized and helpful via email, and Vihn was extremely welcoming in person. I was in town to visit a relative in a nearby hospital, and Vihn showed real concern and created a positive, sociable and comfortable atmosphere to come "home" to after each long day.
