This is the most prestigious building along the Hudson. The Watermark building is unlike anything else you will find.
First also let me start by saying I am never home and you will basically have the entire apartment to yourself.
I travel for work and also have a home in Atlanta. I will be home maybe 7 days out of the month in October, November and December and January for starters.
The apartment is over 1400 square feet and is one of the most exclusive buildings on the Hudson River looking into Manhattan.
Brand new Washer and Dryer in the unit, all new Stainless Steel KitchenAid Appliances, Marble tile in the Kitchen and Bathrooms, wifi, cable.
Building also has 24 Concierge and a state of the art fitness center complete with indoor pool, steam, sauna and all the latest equipment and yoga studio.
There is an exclusive and free Shuttle to the Ferry Terminal for Port Imperial that runs every morning from 6 am to 9:30am and in the evenings it picks you up from 5pm to 8pm to bring you home.
Huge living room has all windows that offer an amazing view of the city. The apartment is very quiet and peaceful.
The building offers such wonderful amenities as 24-hour doorman & concierge service, valet parking, a state-of-the art health club, a movie theater, club room, guest suites, indoor & outdoor pool, tennis courts, conference rooms, and much much more!
Featuring unbelievably easy access to Midtown Manhattan via the NY Waterway, this building is a commuters dream!
Bus to the city stop right in front of the building and come & go frequently. The NJ Light Rail is only minutes away from the building.
Guest will have access to the entire apartment except for the other bedroom. Kitchen, Living Room, One Parking spot, indoor pool, full gym and steam and sauna.
As little or as much as guest wants. I am literally gone more than 75% of the time.
North Bergen is conveniently located close to everything. Ferry Terminal to NYC, shops, restaurants.
Building has a private shuttle in the morning and evenings free of charge to the Ferry Terminal. From there you can take an 8 minute ride into NYC. There's also a bus stop directly behind the building.
I stayed at Jon's apartment for approximately 7 weeks and enjoyed every second there. The apartment is very spacious with a beautiful view overlooking Manhattan. There is a brand new queen size bed in the guest bedroom and a brand new sectional sofa and table in the living room (all were delivered while I was there). The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The apartment building is equipped with an extremely nice and clean gym that also includes a steam and sauna rooms. The building staff were very friendly and will help with just about anything.
This location cannot be beat! Everything one would need is within a couple of blocks (Starbucks, Target, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, CVS, Walgreens). It is only a short 20 minute ride into NYC via NJ transit bus which has a stop right in front of the building. The building is almost equidistant between the Lincoln tunnel and the GW bridge.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jon and he was great. He made me feel right at home. Like he says in the description of the place he is never there so you really do have the place all to yourself. I would definitely book this place again.
I stayed at Jon's apartment for approximately 2.5 weeks and very much enjoyed my time there. The location is ideal: close to all shopping conveniences (Target, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Starbucks, etc.) and a short drive to either the Lincoln Tunnel or GW Bridge for NY access. The building is all class, with a friendly staff and a fitness center that was incredibly functional for its size.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with great Hudson River views, facing roughly northeast. The king foam bed in the master bedroom and near black-out shade made for very restful nights' sleep, while the granite-decked kitchen was perfect for cooking. The only complaint I had is as another reviewer mentioned--furniture (at least during my stay) was very sparse, though the basics are there. For my purposes, it was fine, and ample closet space more than overcame the lack of a dresser or armoire.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Jon, though he was extremely understanding, attentive to emails and always willing to stay in touch. There is no doubt I would stay at his place again.
And friend and I stayed for about 30 days in Jon's apt.
We actually never met Jon personally but had some short phone calls.
Firstful, it's not as furnished as expected.
But however, it's really spacious and has a great location.
You can reach manhattan within 15 minutes by bus (but might take up to 60 - 90 hours if you try to make it during the rush hour).
If you choose the (just a bit) more expensive way and take the ferry, you're there within 8 minutes (from one ferry station to another one).
So it's a great choice to stay there if you don't want to be in the middle of the 'cake' but still be a part of NYC.
The whole residence is simply great; the fitness room is huge, the pools mostly empty and the guys at the concierge really nice.
We enjoyed it very much and would definitly book it again.
