There is a laundry and ironing services available at the corner, of the building.

The mews is a short distance from both knightsbridge (piccadilly lines) and South Kensington (Circle, district, and piccadilly lines) Both are in the underground zone 1. To travel on the underground and busses you will need an Oyster card obtainable from any underground station for a deposit of £3 plus your travel amount (£10-40) that you want to put onto the card. You can also buy paper ticket but this is much more expensive.

Bus routes 14, 74, and C1 stop on the Brompton Rd outside Lords supermarket, almost underneath the flat westbound or opposite for eastbound.

Right on the doorstep of the mews you will find bars, restaurant and shops. Lively Beauchamp place has many choices of restaurants and shops to suit every budget. You can also find supermarket marks and spencer there. Beyond this is the food hall in Harrods.

Natural history museum, Victoria and Albert museum as well as Science museums are only 10 minutes walk from the property. Hyde park is within 15 min reach by foot.

The pay and display car bay is right outside the property and there are many more around the area. It cost ca £3-4/h to park in the meter space. Check for details on the meters to see the days and times when you have to pay. You can also find Barclays bike rental station across the main road on the left of Brompton square.

Other Things to Note

Please note that there is a cash deposit of 20 GBP to be made at the end of your stay for cleaning purposes.

  • Our first experience with air b n b and it was a great one. perfectly located to explore London with the tube only minutes walk away. Very safe neighbourhood we often walked home late at night and never felt un safe. Great neighbourhood for shopping with Harrods in walking distance. The room itself is very clean and comfortable for two people, and the cafe next door is also very handy for a quick breakfeast on the go. Overall would highly recommend staying here.

  • The studio was gorgeous, a good size, and well equipped, with a great shower and comfy bed. It's in a lovely area and Jules was really flexible about our arrival and departure times which was great. It is up a long, winding staircase with other flats off it (as other reviews have mentioned) which was fine for us but would be challenging with a big suitcase. Other than that I can't think of anything you should know - the place was perfect for us!

  • Our stay at Jules' apartment was perfect. In a perfect location - we walked everywhere, no need for public transportation (aside from to and from the airport). The room was very comfortable and clean, nice clean bathroom - complete with shower gels and soap, and cool decorations in the room! We would definitely stay again in London! Jules left us yogurts and apples, which was a nice surprise, and we are so grateful that she was able to accommodate our early check in after a long flight from NY. There is also good wifi! Everything was great! Thanks Jules!

  • Nice flat in lovely area. The flat was perfect for a few days in London. Bakery next store, pubs around the corner- but really quiet for sleeping. We needed the AC for 2 nights- and it worked really well and was quiet. We were grateful we had AC!! There is a small frig and a Nespresso machine in the closet. Wine glasses and plates and mugs too. The bed was a bit small for us ( we are used to a king size) however, it was really comfy and had nice Cotten linens, down pillows and a duvet. Jules gave good directions to flat, which was only a short walk from both the Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube.
We would stay again if we come back to London.

  • Jules' studio is a fantastic retreat in a fashionable part of London. It combines luxury and practicality. My 6-days at the studio were my first Air BnB experience and it couldn't have been better. As other guests have remarked, the 7 flights of stairs are a challenge but you get used to them! There is everything you need and plenty of space. The bed is really comfortable too! Thanks for a great stay Jules! :)

  • Wonderful experience!

Studio is really clean and comfortable, with so many facilities inside (Nespresso coffee machine, small fridge, must have for breakfast, all you need in the bathroom …).

Situated between South Kensington Tube stop and Knightsbridge, you can find also pub and supermarket in proximity.

Jules is a very helpful host.

Sure I want to come back there next time I will be in London!

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb and we have to say it was a great experience.
The studio is really nice and the location is just perfect. Very close to the tube, on the Picadilly line, and in a beautiful neighborhood.
I recommend this room. There's only one little cons: lots of stairs to get to the room :)

  • this was an excellent accommodation in every way. it is only a few blocks to knightsbridge station. you can jump on the tube and get wherever you want very quickly. also the citi busses and the tour busses stop right in front of harrods which is only ca 4 blocks. the shower was very nice and had plenty of pressure. there is a great coffee shop, patisserie valerie, just down stairs and a terrific traditional english pub, the bunch of grapes, right on the corner (50 paces). there are 81 steps and 3 turnarounds up to the studio so you will get some exercise. we felt perfectly safe in this area and felt that it was a very efficient and beautiful location. jules was very quick to respond to all questions. we are very satisfied and would happily come back! thank you jules!
