This home is in a scenic location.
Located next door to The Little Daisy Mansion in Jerome, Arizona. Jimmy Douglas originally built this home for his top staff at the mine. Beautifully restored and tastefully decorated, our spacious and open house has everything you need to have fun with your group. Relax on the wide front porch under the starry night sky while looking over the red rocks of Sedona. And don’t forget to bring your camera—the sunsets are breathtaking! The Geode is the top floor only of the famous Geologist's House.

The space
Whether you enjoy nature's show of snow falling gently down, clouds drifting by, sunrises and sunsets, or monsoon season with rains and rainbows, you will find that and more from the large front patio of The Geode. You'll truly feel like you're in a high desert/ mountain dreamland as the ravens glide gently by.
Our bright and airy home mimics the expanse and beauty of the surrounding desert with the rich blues of the sky and the orange rusts of the rocks. This one-bedroom, one-bath floor works well for a small group who want to experience all that Jerome and the surrounding area have to offer. We can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests with our additional queen-size murphy bed cabinet.
A walk-in shower for one or two. The essentials are provided, including a hairdryer, towels, soap, and shampoo, for your convenience.
The property also has several outdoor areas for soaking up that Arizona sunshine. A shared flagstone BBQ area, a more private north patio with views that beg for inspired thoughts, and the expansive front porch that invites a unique view as the sunset is seen in the east as it bounces off the red rocks of Sedona and the sunrise is enjoyed there too!
The living room is large enough for everyone to relax and watch a movie on our smart TV! We also offer a Roku setup and fast and reliable Wi-Fi so you can stay connected.
While Jerome offers fun local restaurants, sometimes nothing beats a relaxing meal at home. Our spacious, fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need for a fun dinner with family and friends.

Neighborhood highlights

It is located on a private gated road with two additional properties nearby: the Little Daisy Mansion (formerly a Hotel) and The Villa Contenta. To one side of these properties, the picturesque vista over the Town of Jerome is peacefully reminiscent of the Mediterranean countryside. At the same time, to the left, breathtaking views take you on a visual journey through Northern Arizona, from the greenery of creeks and rivers populating the Verde Valley across to the world-renowned Red Rocks of Sedona and Sycamore Canyon and up to Arizona’s highest mountain ranges, the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff.

The Town of Jerome has a vibrant art scene, restaurants, live music, wine-tasting rooms, local bars, shops, amazing views, and historic buildings. The local High School and its three buildings closed in 1953 and now is home to many creatives who use the classrooms as working studios. Stop in and see who is open to visitors! Also, most Saturday afternoons from 2- 6 pm, you can hear live music pouring out into the streets from the Spirit Room - stop in and get your dance on!
