Interaction with Guests
Interaction with guests is very minimal, though I'm always available by phone, email or airbnb messaging. Guests have the whole house to themselves from check in to check out.
There are some amazing restaurants across the street at Helms Bakery. If you love burgers & beers, Father's Office is not to be missed. You'll find an affordable French bistro, La Dijonaise, a few doors down from Father's Office -- ask for Harissa paste for your fries and/or bread. Yum. Across from La Dijonaise is Bucato, a small plates Italian restaurant that has pasta and bread made from scratch daily!
If you are taking in the sights, you'll find that you are centrally located between Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Downtown & Hollywood.
Neighboring Culver City has a ton of great restaurants to offer. Lyfe is one of our favorites, offering 3 versions of their menu: Everything, Gluten-Free, and Vegan. There's a Farmers Market every Tuesday from 2 to 7 pm on Main St. and there's a block party every Third Wednesday featuring live music, special offers, free goodies, food, wine and cocktail samplings and discounts from over 20 participating businesses throughout the Downtown Culver City area.
There are several art galleries within walking distance. Check (website hidden) for more info.
The Expo Line, just 3 blocks away, will take you downtown to the California Science Center (home of the Endeavor Space Shuttle), Expo Center, an IMAX theatre, Memorial Coliseum, The Natural History Museum, Rose Garden, and Sports Arena.
The Culver CityBus & Metro Bus systems can get you just about anywhere you need to go.
Soon, the Expo line will take you all the way to Santa Monica beach!

Neha's place was wonderful! I was amazed at how private even the outdoor space was, peacefully secluded behind hedges and the indoor space was peaceful, comfortable and well appointed and Neha was a wonderful and attentive host. I would love to visit Neha's place again in the future.
Wow what can I say? This place was EXACTLY how it looked in the pictures. I didn't get a chance to meet the host but the itinerary explained everything. I was even able to check in early due to my flight being so early. The aura of this home is so relaxing. I will recommend this to any & everybody.
This house is truly an oasis! I stayed here for three weeks during a trial period with a new job, and it was heavenly. Not only is the place cutely decorated, but it also is centrally located in LA. I also loved sitting out front on the lounge chairs in the sun. You really feel like you're in your own private area due to the tall hedges out front. I have to say overall there are no complaints on my end.
The host made us feel very welcome and answered any questions immediately. The house location in Culver City was perfect for our needs. Close proximity to stores and to our family. The ambiance of the home with its poi ponds is both soothing and relaxing.
Great stay at this house. Neha was extremely efficient at getting back to my initial enquiries and subsequent questions about the property. The house is exactly as described and the photographs are a fair representation. I highly recommend this house for both couples and families.
Overall it was an amazing airbnb experience! Neha, the host, is extremely organized and responsive. Anything we needed, she would email back within the next half hour. The house itself was clean and roomy, and really has everything you need to enjoy your time in LA. It's such an adorable property and convenient to a ton of places!
If I were to say ONE thing it would be that the house has a slightly weird smell to it when you first walk in. I think it was just because of the heater (we stayed in 'winter' months) but other than that it was a really great experience.
I was born and raised in LA and have yet to live anywhere outside California. After high school, I moved up north to attend UC Berkeley and stayed there to begin my career in Visual Effects at Industrial Light & Magic. After 12 years in Berkeley, I came home to LA where I continued to work in Visual Effects, became a massage therapist and got my diploma in Ayurvedic Sciences. Though California has always been home, I have traveled to many places including my parents' homeland, Sri Lanka.
I met my husband, Sean, working on Life of Pi and we recently bought a home together. Sean surfs almost every day and I join him when it's not too cold or too early. We enjoy chasing waves around the globe, playing the occasional round of golf, live music (especially at the Hollywood Bowl), visiting friends and family, and making new friends in exotic places. Our favorite meal is the vegan Club Sandwich at Real Food Daily.
