There are some amazing restaurants across the street at Helms Bakery. If you love burgers & beers, Father's Office is not to be missed. You'll find an affordable French bistro, La Dijonaise, a few doors down from Father's Office -- ask for Harissa paste for your fries and/or bread. Yum. Across from La Dijonaise is Bucato, a small plates Italian restaurant that has pasta and bread made from scratch daily!

There's a Farmers Market every Tuesday from 2 to 7 pm on Main St. and there's a block party every Third Wednesday featuring live music, special offers, free goodies, food, wine and cocktail samplings and discounts from over 20 participating businesses throughout the Downtown Culver City area.
There are several art galleries within walking distance. Check (website hidden) for more info.

Thanks, Neha. We have been in a real oasis! A really nice home with a great personal touch. We had a really good time.
Neha's home was excellent; clean and exactly the way it's portrayed in photographs. Bedrooms are spacious, nice kitchen and sizeable living room. Neha herself is super responsive and everything was as straightforward as can be. Location is key for me personally and I think this is one of the more ideal places you can be situated - Close to the airport, beaches, downtown, hills etc.
Parking on the street is super easy when there isn't street cleaning. Beach towels available in the closet made the weekend for us. In my opinion the best part of the place is relaxing in the front or back patios and surrounding Koi ponds. Undergrind Cafe became one of my favorite breakfast spots and that's 5min away, so is In-N-Out, and much more.
We had a wonderful time at Neha's place. Everything was perfect and as described. Looking forward to our next visit.
My wife and another couple stayed at Neha's place for 7 nights, and had a wonderful experience. The listing's photos are a very accurate representation of the house.
- The location is perfect. Very central. Basically a 20 minute or less drive to anything in the LA area (downtown, Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Marina De Ray, airport).
- Extremely peaceful and quiet home due to the large hedge bush in the front and 2 amazing goldfish ponds and patios with running fountains.
- Kitchen had nice appliances, granite countertop, and all the cooking utensils you could need.
- Bedrooms, dining room, living room, and bathrooms were all very spacious. Living room couch was super comfy, beds were comfy, and she left room in the dressers and closets for our clothes.
- Neha was extremely quick to respond, and is a great communicator.
- The house manual was very detailed and thorough - the manual and a local guide book was left on the dining table for us.
- Ceiling fans in both bedrooms to keep us cool, and plenty of clean linens.
- The water pressure in the shower is amazing.
- The floor could've used a good sweep or mopping before we arrived. There was some hair and some crumbs on the bedroom, bathroom, and living room floors. Other than that, the house was clean and tidy.
- The bathroom sink drains very slowly, so we washed our hands and brushed our teeth in the kitchen sink.
Overall, it was an outstanding experience. Neha is a great host, and you really cannot beat this listing's combination of location, price, size, and comfort. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and would certainly stay here again.
This was a most delightful abode! Clean, green inside and out, convenient to the city and restuants. We appreciated the suggestions for restuants, the coffee and breakfast fare, and loved lounging by the lily ponds each morning. When we needed help with media the hosts were very prompt and attentive.
Neha was extremely helpful and gracious when I needed a last minute place to stay. Always around if I had questions or concerns and provided a beautiful home for us to reside in during our stay. I will absolutely be reaching out to Neha again to stay in this lovely home when I come back to California in the near future. I recommend this residence to all who come across it
Neha's place was wonderful! I was amazed at how private even the outdoor space was, peacefully secluded behind hedges and the indoor space was peaceful, comfortable and well appointed and Neha was a wonderful and attentive host. I would love to visit Neha's place again in the future.
About the Host, Neha
I was born and raised in LA and have yet to live anywhere outside California. After high school, I moved up north to attend UC Berkeley and stayed there to begin my career in Visual Effects at Industrial Light & Magic. After 12 years in Berkeley, I came home to LA where I continued to work in Visual Effects, became a massage therapist and got my diploma in Ayurvedic Sciences. Though California has always been home, I have traveled to many places including my parents' homeland, Sri Lanka.
I met my husband, Sean, working on Life of Pi and we recently bought a home together. Sean surfs almost every day and I join him when it's not too cold or too early. We enjoy chasing waves around the globe, playing the occasional round of golf, live music (especially at the Hollywood Bowl), visiting friends and family, and making new friends in exotic places. Our favorite meal is the vegan Club Sandwich at Real Food Daily.
