If you are planning to visit Lisbon, regardless whether it is your first time, or if you are simply coming back, you will want to be right in the heart of the city.
My flat is 2 minutes away from Rossio and Chiado, one of the trendiest places to visit during your stay, and it is also next to two night hotspots, Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré, down by the river.
I am renting a room with a double bed in my flat, which is on the 1th of an old typical Portuguese building. It’s a simple flat but I keep it clean and cosy.
There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood but If you like to cook, you may use the kitchen and cook your own meals. There is a grocery store and a biological market right around the corner.
If you want to stay connected, rest assured because the flat has a WIFI connection and a computer. Also have towels and sheets for your use.
Needless to say, Lisbon is a beautiful city and you are going to be right in the heart of it.
If you want to visit Sintra (which is a must), with its beautiful palaces and the Moorish castle, the train station is in Rossio (30 minute trip). In Cais do Sodré (5 minutes walk) you may also take the train to Carcavelos (surf), Estoril and Cascais (30 minute trip), with its elegant Atlantic beaches.
In June we celebrate Saint Anthony of Lisbon (the patron saint of Lisbon). It is a very lively period and you will be able to join all the neighbours coming together to celebrate in the streets, eating sardines and drinking wine.
By the way, my name is Farid, I’m 28 years old. Please feel welcome to stay anytime in the year.

Thank you Farid! I really enjoyed to be your guest. for 5 days.
Farid is a very smart and nice person, he wants to help his guests and he is very available to provide to you all the info that you require.
The house is placed in the centre of the town, in one of the best position because you are near to everything and in a wonderful place of the city.
The room was clean, confortabe and with nice beds; even if the building was over the tramway and over a squaere, the room was silent. You will reaaly enjoy your stay here.
Moreover, the shared kitchen offer everything you need, and you have two shared bathrooms .
Thanks again Farid!
Farid was very nice and told us everything we needed to know about Lisbon. The neighborhood is great, it is located in the Barrio Baio that at night has a lot of bars and places to eat. Be ready for the noise inside and outside the apartment. The room in the apartment is big and comfortable. Overall I recommend this host.
The apartment is really good and well located! During the day and at night it is nice to go around the square. The apartment is confortable and very clean! Farid is very helpful and nice. We'd loved our stay there!
The room is great with beatifull views. Farid also is a nice gay very helfull.
the position is very good!! liked very much the room, and the view out of the window. Farid is a kind host and he help us finding what we need, he is also improving the b&b ...and is very cheep!
I stayed in Farid`s apartment for three nights with my friends. It was a very pleasant experience!
Our room was convenient, very clean, bright and looking directly at a busy square. Location was very central, the famous yellow tram 28 had a stop just in front of the apartment door.
Farid was a good host and more than that, as a friend. He showed us around, eagerly answered all our questions and helped us with whatever we needed help. We saw his mother once, very shiny, positive woman! There is an english school in one of the rooms, but it was rather good,we got to know a cute friendly American teacher and had pleasant conversation.
Recommended place, especially in summer!
Our stay at Farid's house was really great. The location is simply the best one, right in the middle of Barrio Alto, where you can find bars at each corner. The bedroom was incredibly big and with an amazing view, directly infront of the Plaça Luis Camoes and with the buses, metro and Tram station not farer than 2 min by feet. The bedroom didn't have a private bathroom but they are working on that, anyways the environment is really nice so the other fact does not really matter. Farid is an excellent guy who is always wanting to help with anything he can do. We highly recommend this room, or to stay at Farid's house.
The place is very good located, in central of old town. Room is big and clean. You can meet people from many countries here. Farid is very nice, helpful and funny.
Farid is kind and understandable host, he reply very fast to your mail.
The room is great, clean, so spacious for a small price. The location is well situated in the center, you have the metro, bus 28 nearby. And you can visit a lot of thing by walking. The streets around have a lot restaurants. We really have enjoy 3 nights in Lisbonne.
I recommanded Farid.
We had a very good time in Lisboa. The place at Farid was good and on a perfect spot. Here you could hear and feel the heartbeat of this beautiful city. And when you needed some rest, you close the windows (whit double glass.) and the noise of the city was far away. We hope to come back and love to stay again at this room with the beatiful view..
