There are a total of four bedrooms available - two full bath. All mattresses are temperpedic or dux: two queen (pictured) and two full (pics on the way!) I can accommodate up to 8 guests. Details below!
My spacious home offers plenty of room to stretch out inside, as well as many garden rooms to enjoy outside. There are two queen size and two full size bedrooms each with Tempur-Pedic/Dux mattresses awaiting you in this Victorian Home one block from the sandy beaches of the Great Peconic Bay (max two people per bedroom). And from May through September there is a 60' lap pool and outdoor shower to enjoy! The kitchen is well equipped should you wish to cook your own meals, and there are two grills with plenty of space for outdoor dining.
This quiet neighborhood is off the beaten path but is near all the restaurants, vineyards, farms, beaches and boating activities for which the North Fork is famous.
The house is located 9/10 of a mile from the Hampton Jitney Jamesport stop and the S92 public transit bus and only a few miles from either the Riverhead or Mattituck LIRR stations. If you take public transportation I'm happy to come and fetch you if I am available!
There are different ways to visit my home. You may rent a single room, or rent two rooms if you are traveling with family and friends. The entire house could also be made available which would give you four bedrooms to enjoy.
My dog, Dizzie - a hypo-allergenic, non shedding mini-goldendoodle (picture included) - and I look forward to hosting you while you visit this beautiful part of the world.
If you are a smoker I request that you smoke outside. A separate refrigerator is offered for your convenience and other cooking supplies are available - just ask!
Should you enjoy music please do so before 11PM.
Peter's house was perfect for a day at the local wineries and to explore the North Fork. I loved the location, the bedroom was very comfortable and Peter made us feel very welcome. I will definitely come back next time I need a place in the area.
Peter was an amazing and gracious host and went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The home is perfectly located close to the beach, and in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Its an excellent place to get away from it all.
The room was as pictured, clean and spacious and the bed was great to sleep in. The pool and garden were also very relaxing--Peter made every amenity of the home available to us. Overall, I highly recommend Peter's home and would definitely stay again.
Peter was a delightful host and very accommodating in his beautiful home. The house is in a great location being a short walk to the beach and a short distance from the shops, restaurants and local vineyards in Jamesport.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend and hope to return again.
Peter was an excellent host! He greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of his spacious, airy home. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Peter was happy to give recommendations for nearby wineries and towns to visit, as well as an awesome spot for breakfast the following morning. The beach is just a short walk down the road and the neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. The courtyard in the back was the perfect spot to hang out, relax, and have a few drinks (we loved how enclosed/private it was). We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
Peter's house and hospitality were amazing!!! I went there with 3 friends and my parents and we all had a blast. Peter was kind enough to spend some time with my parents and show them around the area. They really loved the farms and vineyards not to mention the beach which is a stone's throw away from the house. I would love to go back and visit soon. Thank You Peter!!
Wow, another score by airbnb. Peter was a must gracious host and a fabulous person to get to know. He takes pride in his home, a gem from the 1800s which he fills with eclectic pieces from around the world and right nearby. Everything has a story. We enjoyed getting to know Peter as much as we enjoyed exploring the area - and that includes a wine trail, shopping and historic towns. With comfortable beds, a big house, gorgeous pool and gardens...down the street from the beach, what more can you ask for?
Everything went very well and we enjoyed the stay a lot. Beautiful area of the North Fork. Close to the water and easy to find. Highly recommend.

I am a composer and an educator. I teach music at the college level. I enjoy gardening and love caring for my house and dog, DIzzie, who is 5 years old. I have done some traveling, mostly in France. I've also been to South America and recently China.
By staying at my house you'll be helping me maintain this antique treasure I call home.
