The space
Not the typical "UP NORTH" cabin. Very vacation like "Florida feel" with Tiki Bar and Palm Tree on beach. Space is private, clean, and comfortable. Cozy studio like feel. Your Guest Cabin is separate from main house, and set back from the waters edge as seen in the pictures . Owners are onsite in main house. Weekends often include happy hour at the Beach Bar with numerous friends from the lakes. We enjoy socializing with and sharing travel stories with our guests when we are available. If you are seeking quiet tranquility, and complete seclusion, this Airbnb may not be your fit.

1 mile from Breezy Point Resort. Very close Proximity to Golf (Deacons .5, Breezy Point 1mi) and Pelican Lake recreation. Shopping and local bars and restaurants close by. 25 minutes from Brainerd/Baxter. 15 minutes to popular Nisswa shopping. Area shuttle service also available.

Pelican Lake also has Gooseberry Island where people boat to and relax in the sun. Located 1.5mi from dock. That’s where we spend our time weekends and any chance we get!

We purchased this property as a cabin in April 2015 and renovated it by adding our personal touches, giving it a tropical look and feel. We were married in the Florida Keys in 2011, and love traveling anywhere, so we wanted it to feel like we were on vacation all the time! So, in 2017, we transitioned to make it our permanent “Minnesota Beach House”!! We have two children, Garrett 17 and Alexa 9 and Pup, Kona. We spend our time on the lake as much as we can!

We love hosting happy hours and sharing stories by the campfire on the beach with our guests. We hope guests enjoy a fun and relaxing stay while at Casa Pelicano!
