Other Things to Note
You can walk to the Zoo and Balboa Park. Beach is 15 minutes away, as well as Padre Field, Downtown and Convention Center. Charger's (Qualcomm) stadium is just down the hill in Mission Valley.
Have a good time, but with respect for other guests. We allow neutered and friendly pets or family . the park next to the property is dog friendly but not leash free. No smoking allowed except in front brick paved area on premises.
Perfect size for two. Right on the park and on the bus line. Easy walk to cafes and coffee. Also, a longer but pleasant walk to the Normal Heights neighborhood. Beds are both very comfortable and with plenty of pillows and blankets. We didn't use the indoor/outdoor fireplace but it is a really cool feature. The deck itself is nice for eating or just lounging. Had a great stay.
The flat was perfect for our needs. Perfectly located, comfortably furnished, gracious host, safe and interesting neighborhood. Not only were we blocks from both major freeway entrances and shopping mall, we were walking distance to lots of great places to eat. Perfect weather helped (but that's one of the reasons we picked San Diego to visit). This was great for two sisters traveling--the place might be cramped for four since the living room is converted to a (trundle/kingsize daybed) bedroom. Still, extremely clean and comfortable.
My friend and i had a lovely time staying in Anthony's adorable property. The location was awesome! We wanted for nothing. Would rent again next time we are in San Diego
As a frequent traveler, the things I have learned to always look for in my accommodations are: 1. Cleanliness 2. Comfort 3. Convenient Location 4. Pet friendliness 5. People Friendliness. Was so pleased to find that this place had it all. Not only was the unit very clean upon arrival, the bed was super comfy (HUGE plus), my dog was very welcomed and happy there, and the location is awesome to walk to great bars/restaurants, as well as being a short drive or Uber ride away from other great neighborhoods. Tony & Tim were so welcoming & friendly. They made us all feel right at home & we will definitely be back on our next visit!
What a perfect accommodation for our visit to San Diego! Our host, Anthony was one of the best hosts we have met. he answered all questions and made us feel at home within moments of arriving to the location. The location was perfect with a beautiful park and wonderful restaurants nearby but my two favorite things throughout my visit was the comfortable bed and location. Anthony and his friends certainly gave us the best recommendations of things to do and I wish we could have stayed longer. I will definitely look him up for our future visits to San Diego!
Anthony was nice and welcoming. The home was very comfortable. I used the location for both a photo shoot and a little staycation with my husband. I'll definitely consider using this location again. The Cheers bar across the street was very convenient!
This is a great downstairs apartment that literally overlooks a nice park. It's a cozy space, but opens up with a large front porch area with comfy couches & chairs, plus an outdoor-facing fireplace to take the chill off at night. The hosts were super-nice to us, and pointed out the doggy door where our small pooch could gain access to the side yard area. The location is terrific, with many cool & ethnic eateries around the corner on Park Blvd., including the fantastic craft beer (email hidden). Highly recommend!
