Prepare to UNPLUG. No cell service, no wifi, just nature (but you can easily find us on the world wide web)!
HomeGrown HideAways is a hundred-acre holler near Berea, Ky. It is owned and operated by Nathan & Jessa Turner, Jessa's mom, and a variety of pets and wildlife.
All guests have access to our fully-stocked, chef-approved Community Kitchen which has COFFEE, and all major appliances (oven, stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker) plus pots, pans, utensils, dishes and a 3 bin sink. Clean up after yourself.
We have a steep and rugged hiking trail, several fire pits, and are just 6 miles from Get Outside Ky where you can rent canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and e-bikes. We do not have tv, internet, or cell reception. There are as many stars as there are bugs so come prepared for both!
The farm's bath house is open from April through October (or whenever temps remain above freezing for an extended period of time) and features 4 flush toilets and 2 solar-heated showers. In the winter months, the bathrooms inside the Community Kitchen are available.
We ask that you leave your pets at home, but you are welcome to snuggle ours. If you don't like dogs, our place may not be a good fit for you since our critters get pretty excited to meet new guests and may jump on you (we promise we're working on training). For those with service animals, please be aware that there are coyotes, hawks, and other wildlife that might be a danger and we cannot guarantee how our dogs might react to your assistant. Please chat with us ahead of time to make sure we're the right option for you.
We love sharing our beautiful farm and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

During your stay
Since we live here on the farm, you're likely to cross paths with us during your stay. We enjoy meeting our guests and hearing their stories, but also want to respect your space so we'll never just knock on your door unless there's some kind of emergency. That said, if you have any problems at all during your stay, please do not hesitate to knock (LOUDLY) on our door so we can assist.
