  • This flat was absolutely stunning. The kitchen and bathroom were luxurious to say the least and the entire space was decorated great, but not cluttered. We were even able to unpack our items with the shelves Marie left for us.

Marie gave us tons of information via email prior to arriving which was extremely helpful. She told us about the market, the scenic walk to Sacre Couer and directions from the Metro stop. We felt very prepared and we liked that the building used codes to get in, so our check-in, check-out didn't involve scheduling a meet-up. It was super convenient. Just remember that the 4th floor is really the 5th in Europe!

The only thing we weren't too keen on was the location. We felt on guard walking to the apartment in the evenings as there were a lot of men around staring at me (female, 29), but none bothered me, as my husband was with me, and we didn't walk around much at night. It was about 3-4 blocks from the Metro, which was totally fine. And once you walked about 2 blocks closer to Montmarte, it was nicer and much cleaner. I would still stay here again (don't mistake that, the apartment is superb!), just wouldn't walk alone late at night.

  • My sister and I were staying for a few nights in Paris and decided to rent Marie's little flat. This was an amazing decision - made a big difference in our trip! The flat is located in a wonderful little area in Montmatre. It is very close to the metro and the place itself is also beautiful... if you are looking for a real french experience then this place is perfect. Really clean, nicely furnished, great shower, lots of space, big windows, and i could go on. Marie and her sister were also extremely helpful and lovely. Thank you for everything! If I ever return to Paris I would love to stay again!

  • Marie was a really great host from the beginning to the end! She was prompt with her responses and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. After booking, she sent us precise directions and different methods of transportation to get to her place. She also sent us maps of local activities so we could further plan our visit. Upon arrival she was very welcoming and showed us around, and we were very impressed with how clean and tidy it was. She left out clean towels, drinking glasses, extra blankets in case we got cold, and multiple maps and guides of Paris for us, as well as her computer in case we needed the internet. Her place is very comfortable and safe, we have absolutely no complaints at all. We hope all of our airbnb experiences are this great!
