The space
This stone cottage is nestled among the orchards at Bluemont Vineyard and boasts stunning valley views. The former "loafing shed" was a home to the horses in the pasture and has been fully updated for guests to enjoy.

~ Spectacular sunrise views from the porch equipped with a small table and 2 swivel rockers
~ Graciously appointed with a queen bed made with comfy sheets
~ Sitting room with sofa and 2 lounge chairs that swivel to take in the view
~ Bathroom with separate water closet
~ Custom built stone shower
~ Kitchenette equipped with a toaster oven, keurig with k-cups, dishes, glassware, microwave and full size refrigerator (NO STOVE or OVEN)
~ Linens and towels provided
~ Option to book reservations in the tasting room via the Bluemont Vineyard website
Guest access
Self check-in via key pad~ the door code will be sent via the Airbnb app by 3pm
Check-out is at 11am
The cottage is very private and totally at your disposal with adjacent parking. During the farming season, we do have pick your own guests in the surrounding cherry orchard (June) as well as the apple (Sept-October) and peach (July-August) orchards below the cottage from 9am-6pm.
PET POLICY:
Although we do love dogs and have several ourselves, because we advertise the cottage as not suitable for pets, we do not permit pets in the cottage so that guests with allergies can book with confidence. Thank you for your understanding.
Other things to note
This Cottage is located in the middle of our working farm between the apple, peach and cherry orchards. When those fruits are in season, there will be guests picking fruit when Great Country Farms is open during the day. There is a privacy fence around the cottage yard and signage for guest privacy.
