Located at the headwaters of Four Mile Creek, in the shadow of 14,035′ Mount Sherman and 13,898′ Horseshoe Mountain and nestled in the trees just below timberline, Kurt’s Yurt is your base camp for a Colorado High Country adventure. Just outside the door is endless outdoor recreation possibilities. Kurt’s Yurt is equipped with all the amenities to make your Yurt Camping Trip comfortable. All we need to add is YOU! Come join us! Note: in the winter, you will be using snowshoes or skis to access.

A nice location very far from everything and everyone. A decent trek in the deep snow without a proper high clearance 4wd. You definitely need the right gear and experience with living conditions off the grid to stay here.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Great place to reflect, relax and unwind! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great experience. Instructions were great, and everything we needed was provided! 5 stars!!!

This is a very rustic, cozy, secluded spot if you seek to disconnect. We enjoyed playing games and watching the fire. We would recommend using an SUV on the roads to the yurt as some pitted areas were about half a foot deep and having 4x4 was welcome. The location is beautiful …
