About this listing
Stable Cottage is a cute space in a lovely place! It has a double futon bed on the mezzanine level and downstairs are 2 small double beds. 45 minutes from Dublin Airport in the heart of Kildare, we are a good gateway spot for a trip around Ireland.
Our Stable cottage is part of our little stable block next to our house (equine folk are not in residence!). It is a charming space decorated in a fresh, chic style. The accommodation comprises of a large futon style bed up a ladder staircase in the loft above the living area and 2 smaller queen size beds downstairs which would suit 1/2 adults or 2 kids.
The cottage will be all yours during your stay and has a small kitchen space in the living area with a sink, kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster. Alternatively, for those staying just one night we can provide breakfast (Coffee/Tea, toast, Muesli and Cereal).
While situated in idyllic rural countryside, we are just off the M9 Motorway and are only 40 minutes from Dublin. Our nearest village is lovely Kilcullen which has a bus service, shops, pubs and restaurants. We are also next door to Rathsallagh Hotel and Golf Club which is a great place to golf or eat in.
Our cottage is special because it has a bit of style, beautiful views and is in a great location.
Other Things to Note
Please note that our pricing is based on a 45€ per person basis but 60€ for one since it is a whole cottage.

We were given a very warm welcome by our host Siobhan and her husband Jason, we were attending a wedding in nearby Rathsallagh and we were very kindly left to the venue by Jason. the property is exactly as described and I would rebook if I'm ever back this way again.
We unfortunately got lost, lost phone service, and were very late, so stayed elsewhere. But the host, Siobahn, was very understanding and attentive.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and Siobhan and her family were so welcoming, friendly and generous, we were so pleased to be staying with such a lovely family. The location is fantastic, a short drive from Dublin and near the Wicklow Mountains, and the cottage is tastefully designed and decorated. We'd definitely stay here again, but next time, for longer, 5*.
After exploring Ireland for a number of weeks, I really needed a couple of days to just relax and recharge. Siobhan and Jeremy's wonderful stable cottage proved the perfect retreat. Idyllic, peaceful and amidst a stunning landscape, the cottage is well apportioned and had everything I needed for a few days in recluse. Siobhan and Jeremy are warm and gracious hosts who were more than happy to offer suggestions of things to see and do. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend you do so if you get the chance.
Beautiful little cottage! Great use of space and siobhan and jason were so welcoming and helpful. Homemade granola and tea and coffee was bonus! Many thanks
Beautiful cottage in beautiful landscape. No complaints, siobhan and jason went beyond what was expected with their welcome and providing breakfast and tea and coffee, plenty of throws etc.
Siobhan and her family were incredible hosts. This was a last minute booking and she even managed to buy us some milk before we arrived. The cottage was better than anticipated and super comfortable.
What a great find!
Can't wait to come back.

About the Host, Siobhan
I think I am an outgoing, optimistic and creative person. I enjoy interiors, art and fashion and going out with family and friends. I am also a loving! wife and and mother of two children and I love where we live. I spent many years in cities and really love to visit them but this is right for us now. I work as an Organiser of Naas Farmers Market on Saturdays which is a great place to visit but I am looking forward to travelling more with Airbnb! My husband Jason works for Lily O'Briens Chocolate company which our children can't quite believe! We love horse riding, rugby and tennis and going horse racing. Our favourite holidays are usually in Ireland - Dunmore East is our holiday spot but we also like to go to Ile de Re in France if we can. I'll tell you about it when you come..
