lovely home - perfect location and beautifully presented, clean and comfortable - the host Marzena was very friendly and helpful - one small thing is that possibly the heating could be popped on earlier when its cold as it took an evening to warm through fully - but then it was lovely
We had a dreamtime in Uzes! The house is absolutely beautiful, very tastefully decorated, almost atmospheric. It is as shown at the photos and even better. We had a great time and we hope to go back there soon.
Uzes is quite a small place but has everything someone needs. Ideally visited by car as public transportation can be problematic.
We had an excellent stay in this remarkable property. We were there in December. If you go in the winter be sure to call a day ahead so that the heat can be turned on. This is a 2 floor solid stone building with high ceilings and beautiful furnishings . The bathroom and separate toilet are both upstairs as are the bedrooms. Plenty of room on the main floor with a huge salon, excellent kitchen and dining area. The apartment is a short walk from all of central, charming Uzès.
The hosts information and response to questions were excellent.
Pierre and Philippe's place in Uzes is amazing. Manzena welcomed us and checked through everything with us and explained everything. Our whole stay, including check out and departure was very easy. As we were staying 12 nights the place was cleaned and linen changed about half way through our stay, which again was fantastic.
The place looks just like the photos, if not better and the location is fabulous - in the old stone village just down the road from Michelin star Table D'Uzes (definitely recommend their meals), around the corner from the Palace and a 5 min walk from the main square Place D'Herbes where there is a market on Saturday and Wednesday mornings.
The place is very well equipped, except for having no laundry facilities - but the laundromat is a pleasant walk through town and the woman who runs it is very helpful. And it means you see another side of life in Uzes.
My friend and I had a wonderful stay in Uzes and largely because of where we stayed.
Thanks for letting you know what you did think it ;) The table d'Uzes is a marvelous place to know where to dining (a bit though expensive though!). We 've been going there to it a little to have a little something to eat (well, you know, as usual we eat a little something more than what we were supposed to!).

Excellent accommodation. It was great to stay in a house that had character. The facilities in the house were amazing, plenty of glasses, plates so you could invite people in. We had friends who were staying in a villa just outside The town and they were very impressed with our accommodation. Being in the centre of the medieval was very convenient, we walked to eat, drink and sightsee. Best ever. Thank you
My girlfriend and I stayed at the home of Pierre & Philippe in early October of 2014. We love Uzes, and this beautiful home just made the trip that much more enjoyable! It is superbly decorated and appointed with everything one needs. We were met in a timely fashion to be given keys, and shown around the home to make sure we knew where everything was and how the appliances worked, etc. The home is located in the most ideal location, and it was a pleasure to step right out onto the streets of this lovely medieval village after breakfast each morning.
It is an understatement to say that we would recommend this property to people interested in visiting Uzes -- if given the chance, we will not stay anywhere else when we return again! Loved every bit of it! Thank you so much Pierre & Philippe, for sharing your beautiful home with us!
This was the most beautiful apartment I stayed in!
I loved the town and the countryside so much.
I never wanted to leave.

We are two guys: Pierre and Philippe. Pierre has got a PhD in medecine. Philippe is a musician (harpsichord and piano). We live in a beautifull old-style and large apartment in the very center of Lyon. We love meeting new people and have cultural exchanges. We are interested in the classical and baroque music, cultural happenings.
Pierre is born in Lyon and we do know very well our city. You may enjoy and get tips to discover Lyon, as we love that town far beyond than anything else. We love helping our guests in discovering the city (restaurants, museums, interesting places and neighborhoods).
We are open-minded and gay-friendly :)
