  • We were in Rome for three days in March. The apartment is simply great, big, clean, nice and with a special location, in the Trastevere's heart. Very closed from bus and tram, and also walking (10 min from Campo di Fiori, 5 min to Santa Maria Trastevere).
Lorenzo helped us in all the moment, easy to meet with him and leaving us all the accomoddities in the apartment, like Nespresso's capsule, wifi, or Sky television. It was our third time in Rome, but the first staying in a Apartment. Just think that if you want to enjoy Rome, like a "romano", don't hesitate more, stay at this place and love this experience.
Don't forget to visit the oldest Pizzeria in Roma, 50m from the apartment "Pannattoni" (Viale Trastevere), just enjoy it, and enjoy the beautifulest city in the World!

  • Lorenzo’s apartment in Trastevere in Rome was a great base for the start and end of our three weeks in Italy. My sister and I (aged in our 60’s) were very happy staying in this newly decorated apartment which had two good-sized bedrooms with comfortable double beds, as well as a living room, small kitchen and bathroom. Each bedroom has a large flat screen TV with Sky TV - great for foreign channels. WiF also. The apartment would also suit two couples. Everything was very clean, and substantial. The apartment was very light with windows on both sides. In some ways the apartment felt rather like a hotel suite, with a safe provided, also small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc.
The kitchen is small and would not be convenient for preparation of large meals, however fine for breakfast and snacks. The apartment is extremely well-situated, so we took advantage of the many trattorias and restaurants within very easy walking distance.
Lorenzo was helpful in arranging transport from the airport when we first arrived – our flight was delayed, and we texted the changed arrangements. He was at the apartment to meet us and insisted on carrying our bags up the steep flights of stairs to the third floor. We did not find the stairs a problem and enjoyed the view. Overall, Lorenzo was prompt to answer text messages, and has very good English.
Area has a mixture of locals and tourists (especially in March); central but not too noisy. For taxi directions, suggest Via Trastevere, Piazza Sidney Sonnini which is just round corner. Taxi rank is 3 minutes walk away on Piazza G.G.Belli. There are trams also.
Closest bridge is pedestrian bridge Ponte Cestio that crosses over the little island (Isola Tiberina) on the Tevere, only about 5 minutes away. Apartment is very close to the more touristy Via Lungaretta, and Piazza de Santa Maria de Trastevere. We walked everywhere, except for taxis to and from main train station, Stazione Termini.
The local supermarket is hard to find – on the other side of Via Trastevere, entrance through a clothing store and down steps at the back. Look for sign saying `Conad’. There are many wonderful food stores and also an outdoor fruit and vegetable market in a square behind Via Trastevere.
We ate in some great local restaurants, notably – Le Mani in Pasta (phone number hidden) (booking necessary), Via dei Genovese (just near Sta. Cecilia) in the continuation of Via Giulio Cesare Santini. We ate great primo piatti at more touristy Ristorante San Cosimato, in Piazza San Cosimato. A wonderful pizza in the large popular local trattoria round the corner on Via Trastevere which also specialises in bean dishes.
Beautiful hand-made silk ties and scarves at La Cravatta in Via di Santa Cecilia. Altogether a great stay in a great area.

  • Good location in Travestere, Rome, and a nice apartment. Would definitely stay there again.

  • The flat is in a perfect location that allows you to discover fascinating Trastevere but is also walking distance from the Ghetto and the centro storico. A lot of restaurants and bars walking distance as well.
The flat itself is clean, has nice views and of respectable dimensions considering that it is Rome. The bathroom and the kitchen are quite small -especially the shower is very small..We didn't meet Lorenzo, we agreed on the phone the time and friends of Lorenzo were there with 2 sets of keys. We were also allowed to leave our suitcases at the flat until the departure of our flight in the late afternoon (we stayed there only . Don't expect any tour guide but a nice, charming and clean place to stay in the heart of Rome.

  • I stayed in both of Lorenzo's apartments in Trastevere and had an excellent experience in both. Lorenzo is tremendously helpful, prompt in his communication, and a wonderful human being.

Both places were very clean and in excellent locations for walking around Trastevere and are quite close to the Ponte Palatino. They are also very close to the train/tram #8 which provides easy access to central Roma, though my circumstances did not require it. One feels truly part of the neighborhood in both places. I loved opening the windows to see and hear the neighborhoods. Incidentally, I travelled solo and felt perfectly safe at all times, day and night, in and around both apartments.

The wi-fi in both places works very well (an important matter for me and very typical of my travels so this was a huge boon).

Also-Lorenzo was extremely helpful arranging taxis/drivers to and from the airport. I had a rather complicated trip and was in Roma twice. My last flight to FCO was insanely early in the morning. Yet, each ride was perfectly on time and hassle-free and reasonably-priced.

I wish I could have stayed longer. When I return to Roma, there is not a question where I would stay: it would be here.
