Had some awesome days in the most beautiful part of the island here (lave vs. jungle)! Big thanks to my hosts, maria & daniel, who made me feel comfortable and gave a lot of tips concerning this region.
Just a perfect place to stay. Awesome BnB in the middle of the green part of the island. Both, Maria and Daniel are very gentle hosts and gave us a lot of information about what to see on Big Island. Especially I recommend to try Maria's awesome kitchen for a very little amount of money. Please note, you will need to have a car for this place, as it is about 45min drive from Hilo City. Again, great place to spend your vacation on this island.
I had such a wonderful experience! The room was clean, comfortable bright and airy. Just the calm and serene environment I had been looking for!
Although my stay got cut short because of my job, they were both great hosts and really made a lasting impression on me. They took me along to a friends birthday and I ass and to meet all of the other great people in their community. They made me feel very welcome. Maria even cooked for me, and WOW, so good!!
I would definitely recommend staying with this couple and experiencing the community of Pahao!
We could spend nice time in nice place. Maria always keeps house so clean so that we slept very well every night. Thank you Maria and Daniel for your support for our vacation.
The reservation was canceled 12 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
sadly nice place but my host where not as relax and easy going as hooped for .
We lent you our bike and asked you kindly not to take it to the beach because we didn't have a lock. You agreed and then took it to the beach anyways. We kindly reminded you of our agreement but you had no apology. Walking into our private bedroom, opening our private cabinets, using our toiletries, leaving sand and food all over the carpet is not cool. We are very easy going and have been hosting for some time with ease and harmony. Our reviews here say it all. We understand that this is the first time you stay on an AIRBNB and that you are not used to it.. like you expressed... We think you might do better in a hotel rather than a family home. Blessings.
