Very comfortable apartment in central location. Spacious, clean and cool in hot conditions in July. Nice external courtyard. Would recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was as lovely as the pictures on Air B&B. Very good location, effortless check in - thanks to the guest staying in the apartment above who let us shelter in his apartment during a torrential downpour whilst waiting for Marzena to arrive.... His apartment was gorgeous ,too. We ended up having to ring Marzena but she then came very promptly! We spent 5 nights there and we didn't want for a thing!! Highly recommended...
Marlena greeted us with that beautiful smile and made us feel welcome in Uzes and at the apartment. A modest front door and streetscape opened into inviting well decorated spaces. The neighbourhood was quiet with excellent access to a nearby grocery store. Parking at a ticketed facility was relatively close and not the problem that we anticipated. The apartment was accurately portrayed at the BnB site and comfortably met all of our needs. Thank you Pierre and Phillipe.
Our host Marzena was most helpful, she was most flexible in meeting with us And the apartment was clean and well equipped with all we needed. The wee garden patio out the back was a cool place to sit and relax during our stay. The coffee and tea was provided which was nice and extra towels when requested as we were staying over a week. The apartment was close to the Place Aux Herbes and the parking area; central to all in Uzes. The only thing we would change was that the lighting was insufficient and more would have been appreciated.
We had a most enjoyable stay in a very clean ,quiet and charming apartment which looked every bit as good as the photos. Well equipped and easy to find things. We were made very welcome and met the owner a few days later and understood the passion they had for their lovely place.
Location could not be better - Uzes is so easy to get around on foot and parking is no problem being close by. Services like the corner grocery shop, the fantastic boulangeries, and cafes which seemed like seconds away made for a stay that we will remember forever.
Marzena met us right on time and showed us about. She was very kind and helpful. The apartment is smaller and darker than in the photos, but I suppose that comes with the territory-entrance level of a medieval stone building! The front door has a window, and the back door has a window. And that's it! But the location is spectacular! Truly, right in the center, within walking distance of absolutely everything, but on a beautiful, quiet, winding village street. I cannot imagine a better location. And nothing could be better than living in Uzes for 3 weeks, other than living there for good! Such a sweet life.
