We are located near Desa Sanding, a small traditional Balinese village north of Ubud - my family and I live in the village. The house is a little off the beaten track, and the villa was designed to blend into nature, with the roof designed to look like a banana leaf!

The villa is not directly accessible by car - the road is 50m away and we can assist with getting your luggage to the house.
The space may not be suitable for small children - there are some steep drops by the pool and from the hammock.
The house is immersed in nature - wildlife can visit, so if the occasional insect is not your thing, this may not be for you! With our mosquito nets and team always on hand to support, you can relax and enjoy the views!
We are in a rural area - food can be delivered, or ordered from the family, but if you would prefer to cook we recommend bringing what you need with you.

The whole house and garden is for your private use. Enjoy exploring the the rice terraces on your doorstep for amazing photos, ask Wayan to show you the river in the valley below (ice cold for a swim), or explore local walks and hidden local food options.

Other things to note
The house is open to nature - this can mean that moths, geckos, and frogs can make an appearance from time to time. The noise of the wildlife can also sometimes be louder than what some guests are used to. Wayan and family are always on hand to help remove unwanted creatures, but please remember that this house is designed to bring you closer to nature, not to block it out, so please be aware of this when booking.
