  • We enjoyed the Eygló's van! First of all, Eygló is very comprehensive and careful person. She fully considered my health condition and took special care for me.
The bed was compfy and the view just amazing!

The only drawback is that the shower is only in her house and is an extrafee.

  • It was so nice to live the van experience. The van is big enough, comfortable, fully equipped and with nice panoramic view. You can also use kitchen and bathroom in main building so you won't miss anything. Always nice to know local people like Eygló and her guests. Highly recommended.

  • Our stay in the van was just great! We used it as a break from our roadtrip through Iceland. The bed was comfortable and the Van was big and warm. We had a warm welcome with some tea served in the Van(!).

    Takk fyrir!

  • Eygló was a wonderful host and very welcoming! My husband and I stayed in the Vintage Van on a cold and windy night. The van rocked a little in the wind and we definitely needed to use our eye masks as there were a lot of places for light to pass through. Other then that, we were kept very warm with a heater that's in the van, clean bathrooms were near by and easy to access, and Eygló even sent a special package of hot water and tea to the van at night. Breakfast was 10 out of 10 - hands down! We were offered healing organic tea, coffee, boiled eggs from a farmer down the road, homemade bread and jams, cookies, and smoked salmon that her husband caught and smoked himself - wow, what a treat! This was one of the more unique places we stayed while in Iceland (offering a great view!!) and it turned out to be a very nice and memorable experience!

  • So good, I decided to stay an extra couple of nights!

Eygló is a wonderful host, and the scenery is stunning, especially when the sun is out! The breakfasts are excellent, especially the home made bread and jam, an I highly reccomend the dinners too.

The van is basic, but comfortable, and there is plenty of privacy. It is so quiet at night, you can hear your own heartbeat!

If you are looking for great scenery and hospitality, this is the place for you

I have lived in the area almost all my life, so I can provide you with a lot of insider information. 15 years ago my husband and I quit farming. I have studied Natural Healing and Aromatherapie. My Healingroom is here on the Farm, so if you feel like it, you can book a treatment. I speak Icelandic and English, my English writing is not so good yet, so please excuse.
