Great neighborhood ! Amazing restaurants, bars, cafés, music scene... Not too expensive. And you'll feel just like home in my flat. Easy transportation to go anywhere in Paris.
Mini loft between la Bastille and Père Lachaise.
There's a direct bus ride to the Louvre and Metro Charonne is only two blocks away
There are Many restaurants, bars and food stores just around the corner. Great bakeries and wine stores
The street we're on is really quiet yet we're a five minute walk from rue de charonne with all its different bars and restaurants. It's a fun neighborhood very parisian and young
The flat is Cosy, quiet, well ventilated and very bright.
It's on the 5th floor with a small lift to the 4th floor
It's Spacious despite its triangularity (645 sq ft on the ground)
A working kitchen, a full bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. There's a washing machine and a dryer
And wireless internet connexion
It's ideal for two, though there's an alcove with another full bed
The neighborhood is very nice, with many good restaurants if you go down Charonne towards Bastille. I recommend a Vietnamese restaurant called Paris-Hanoi and a very French cafe called Pause Café. Both are on rue Charonne, at about a 5-10 minutes walk.
What is very practical is to take the bus 76 that goes directly to the Louvre and brings you in the center of Paris.
I've been studying in Montreal so I'm really happy to rent out my flat while I'm away!
You will have access to :
- everything there is in the flat !
- You can everything you need in the area. There are a bunch of supermarkets, but also very good cheese, wine, meat, fruits and vegetables shops. There are also a bunch a open air markets. One called Le Marché d'Aligre (close to Bastille and very cheep).
Interaction with Guests
I try to be there to welcome my guests the most possible. But I'm a band manager so I have to travel quite a lot. I'm always reachable very fast on my cellphone or by email...
I think my neighborhood is one of the best... No really it is great because life is not too expensive co,pared to the center of the city. Also, I love the people living in this area. Very multi cultural and alive ! Bars, cafés, restaurants are cool. You will also find quite some great places to listen to live music and to go out at night. Places I have marked on the airbnb guide ;)
Public transport gets you everywhere in Paris. Bus 76 that goes on rue de Charonne crosses Paris from east to west. With it you can go to Bastille, the Marais (St Paul stop) and the Louvres directly.
Also metro line 9, goes to Republic and the Champs Elysées.
And line 2 goes to Pigalle and close to Montmartre.
House rules are more than simple! I leave the flat nice and clean and I'm happy to find it the way I left it for you!
It makes the whole experience more fun
I cannot recommend this beautiful loft enough! Me and 3 friends went here for a weekend and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay at. The beds were comfortable and the apartment itself is supercosy with a romantic feel. The location is perfect, with bars and cafes around and also very close to a metro station. Pablo is a great host who kindly took us out the first evening to one of his favorite bars/restaurants in the area - a very cool place!
Thank you so much Pablo for an amazing stay! Next time im back in Paris I hope to book this place again!

Pablo's place is a perfect Parisian loft. It's in a great location, and we (all four of us) loved staying there. Be advised that, if you are tall, you'll probably hit your head on ceiling at least once while you are there...but that just adds to its charm. Speaking of charm, Pablo was super accommodating, and worked hard to make everything easy on us. I'd definitely recommend staying at Pablo's.
This is a very pleasant apartment and probably different from most other offerings. I arrived having spent the previous three nights at a very satisfactory Luxembourg area hotel while attending an academic conference and was happy to have much more room in which to relax (my daughter, who had spent an extended period in the neighborhood a few years earlier, joined me shortly afterwards). Pablo was very welcoming and easy to talk with about the arrangements. The two most striking things about the apartment initially are that it is very bright (the three skylights help enormously in this regard) and that it is not quite as stark as the photo might suggest. Five flights of stairs (the elevator will take you up three--I used it twice in 5 days of several comings and goings) that are very manageable even for a 69 year-old. All necessary appliances--including a washer and a dryer--are available in the apartment, though you may have to bend down to use some of them (do watch your head as you move towards the walls, though there is plenty of space for tall people overall). We used the heating (in March) and found it wholly satisfactory. The Charonne Metro station is less than five minutes walk away; there are several small restaurants close by, as also a "boulanger," and small grocery stores both chain and independent (really, no shortage of eating places in the area). The Wi-fi was excellent (and very reliable). In all, Pablo's apartment is an excellent choice for anyone interested in day-to-day Parisian life a few Metro stops away from the tourist routes in a neighborhood that is both lively and quiet.
Le quartier c'est super sympa, et l'appart c'est confortable et cool.
Pablo c'était gentil et diponible pendant mon séjour pour répondre des questions.
