[Architecture close to the forest]
The name MOSS comes from the moss that quietly nestles in the forest.
The polyhedron shape inspired by nuts deflects rain and wind, and the raised floor supported by eight slender posts is designed to avoid cutting down trees and damaging the soil and roots.

Take off your shoes at the entrance and step up to a 48-square-meter studio with light streaming through the skylight.
There is an island kitchen in the center, a dining area beyond it, and a sofa by the large window.Outside the window is a 6-square-meter terrace that connects to the apartment.
There is a forest outside the window, wherever you are in the room.Because it is a high-floor apartment, when you sit deeply on the sofa, you can feel like you are floating in the forest.

- By car: About 15 minutes from Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway / about 1 hour 30 minutes from Shinjuku
- Bus: Shinjuku Bus Terminal → Kawaguchiko Station (Fuji Express bound for Kawaguchiko, about 105 minutes) → About 18 minutes by taxi or rental car
・ Bus (transfer): Bus Shinjuku → Kawaguchiko Station (about 105 minutes) → Fujikyu Bus bound for Shin-Fuji Station (about 19 minutes) → Get off at the "Horinouchi" bus stop and walk for about 18 minutes
- Taxi: As this is an area with few taxis, we recommend booking the day before you need one.

Guest access
1. You will have the entire private space to yourselves without sharing the room with other guests or staff.
2. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available in the management building on the premises for sharing with other guests.

■House Rules■
SANU 2nd Home is able to operate because each guest treats it as if it were their own home.Please be sure to observe the following.
・ Please wash and dry the dishes and stow them appropriately.
- Bonfires and BBQs are allowed until 10 pm.Please be quiet after 22: 00
- Bonfires and fireworks are only allowed in the designated bonfire area (the building is made of wood)
・ All rooms are non-smoking (including electronic and heated cigarettes).Smoking is allowed on the terrace or in the designated area
・ Please sort your garbage and put it in the garbage area before checking out.
* If the house rules are not followed and additional cleaning or compensation is required, a compensation fee of 5,500 yen (tax included) will be automatically charged.
■ About the room for consecutive night stays ■
Depending on availability, we may not be able to provide the same room even for consecutive nights.If you need to move to another room, the room will not be available during cleaning hours (11:00-15:00).If there is a change of location, we will contact you as soon as possible after your booking is confirmed.
■ About the natural environment and winter ■
※ Because it is a high-altitude area, it gets cold in the morning and evening even in summer.We recommend bringing a jacket that you can wear.
※ There is snow and frozen roads in the winter.Please prepare studless tires or chains (4WD recommended for safety).
* Please use the provided shovel, etc. to remove snow from the stairs, deck, and parking lot.
※ To prevent water pipes from freezing, please keep the bathtub filled with water and do not turn off the hot water heater using the remote control.
*Because it is a facility located in a natural environment, you may encounter insects and wild animals.Insect repellants are available indoors.
