The neighborhood:
Two blocks from 16th & Mission BART, we're near hundreds of fantastic restaurants, Mission nightlife and arts scene. Its easy to get around the city from here too, with downtown/Union Square/Moscone, the ferry building and the airport (SFO or OAK) just an easy BART ride away. We're happy to point you in the direction of just about anything you want from events to the best food to the best Art Deco movie theaters. We've got a realtime transit arrival display in our ktchen - so you'll figure out where to go. You can also just relax in our huge, quirky space with couches, fast wifi, and friendly people.

The Room:
The guest room has a full sized bed. For an additional $35/person we can accommodate a third or fourth person in a smaller adjacent capsule (think enclosed bunk bed). Message us for details, we can often rearrange things to accommodate you.

  • Fantastic location and bunch of guys. I was fortunate enough to experience the amazing media room. Steve was great and was very kind and inclusive. Thoroughly recommended.

  • I really loved the place. After spending a week in Hilton this felt like coming home. Really nice atmosphere, reliable and fast Wi-Fi with plenty of APs, really comfy bed and awesome people come on the house. Located close to Mission Street with only couple of minutes walk to the closest BART station & buses but you can also lend a bicycle.

    Highly recommended.

  • Love this place! Everyone was super cool and it was in a perfect location. I only hope they let me come back!!

  • Very good location; very nice neighborhood; I recommend you to stay here if you will go to SF!

  • I had a great stay here. The location is excellent for all sorts of reasons. Prepare your mind to be blown by the space. Tiki bar, cinema, hammock flooring complete with bridges, Solder stations, suspended sofas... Quite trippy. Slightly burning man.
On a practical note, you have everything you need. Fast as hell wifi, bikes, locks and helmets, cooker and refrigerator, there were even toiletries and stuff in the room.
Your housemates are great. The characters range from really helpful and friendly through to those that don't really acknowledge your existence. The former made the stay a pleasure, gave me loads of local advice and generally made me feel at home. The latter I put down to continuously having guests arriving and leaving for the past 5 years, understood and forgave.
Basically this place is an acid-tech palace, totally unique, and a great HQ for visiting the city. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Coolest accommodation in San Francisco. If you are looking for unique experiences, want to get inspired or like to meet awesome people, stay here if you can! Very creatively designed, quintessential San Francisco spirit!

  • I stayed here all summer, from June to August and I had an awesome time!
The people in the house were super friendly, and it was very easy to get along with all of them. The location is also very convenient - It's very easy to get to pretty much any place in SF in a jiff!
    I'd definitely stay here again.

  • Clean and close to BART.

  • It is a very unique place. I was in town for (website hidden) IO, so I was out most of the time. With luck, I still had the opportunity to speak to Jason, Steve and Katie. I really enjoy the conversations. I would highly recommend if you are into technology and startups.

    Response from Jeremy:

(website hidden) Translation: Very interesting experience to spend a few nights! The environment in the Mission District is very exciting and always on the go. The area was well until a few years not particularly secure, but has now developed into a magnet for creative people. The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for us. In the start-up WG you will spend his time only there to sleep there. It depends much prefer the creative decorated living room now and (email hidden)e people are very friendly and helpful. It is a constant coming and going and you get very fast and friendly contact with local ... The only slight drawback: (?) The Old Warehouse retracted into the ceiling and walls are very thin ... If it is seven in the morning the phone in the office or the shower starts, there is a little louder .... Only a little less for me to enjoy my stay and no reason to express an absolute recommendation!
