Very good location; very nice neighborhood; I recommend you to stay here if you will go to SF!
I had a great stay here. The location is excellent for all sorts of reasons. Prepare your mind to be blown by the space. Tiki bar, cinema, hammock flooring complete with bridges, Solder stations, suspended sofas... Quite trippy. Slightly burning man.
On a practical note, you have everything you need. Fast as hell wifi, bikes, locks and helmets, cooker and refrigerator, there were even toiletries and stuff in the room.
Your housemates are great. The characters range from really helpful and friendly through to those that don't really acknowledge your existence. The former made the stay a pleasure, gave me loads of local advice and generally made me feel at home. The latter I put down to continuously having guests arriving and leaving for the past 5 years, understood and forgave.
Basically this place is an acid-tech palace, totally unique, and a great HQ for visiting the city. I would definitely stay here again.
Coolest accommodation in San Francisco. If you are looking for unique experiences, want to get inspired or like to meet awesome people, stay here if you can! Very creatively designed, quintessential San Francisco spirit!
I stayed here all summer, from June to August and I had an awesome time!
The people in the house were super friendly, and it was very easy to get along with all of them. The location is also very convenient - It's very easy to get to pretty much any place in SF in a jiff!
I'd definitely stay here again.
Clean and close to BART.
It is a very unique place. I was in town for (website hidden) IO, so I was out most of the time. With luck, I still had the opportunity to speak to Jason, Steve and Katie. I really enjoy the conversations. I would highly recommend if you are into technology and startups.
(website hidden) Translation: Very interesting experience to spend a few nights! The environment in the Mission District is very exciting and always on the go. The area was well until a few years not particularly secure, but has now developed into a magnet for creative people. The room was quite small, but perfectly adequate for us. In the start-up WG you will spend his time only there to sleep there. It depends much prefer the creative decorated living room now and enjoy a cold beer ... The people are very friendly and helpful. It is a constant coming and going and you get very fast and friendly contact with local ... The only slight drawback: (?) The Old Warehouse retracted into the ceiling and walls are very thin ... If it is seven in the morning the phone in the office or the shower starts, there is a little louder .... Only a little less for me to enjoy my stay and no reason to express an absolute recommendation!
Staying in the house was a great experience!
Very cool place with a very nice bunch of people. I had a good time staying. Wish I could have spend more time with the folks there but I had a full schedule.
First off, excellent location!
This stay was critical to giving me the best vacation I've had in San Francisco out of five times visiting there. I was mostly looking to be alone, explore, and get some work done and was able to easily here. My only regret is not getting a chance to connect with the folks living here, they're a lively, technical bunch. My Minnesota Nice ways got the best of me, I suppose.
This stay was my first!
