Welcome to Abner’s retreat at Scott Mansion Farms , where luxury and history meet nature in perfect harmony. Nestled amid awe-inspiring mountain views, this home offers a sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and tranquility. Whether you’re looking to unwind, recharge, or create lasting memories with loved ones, Abner’s Retreat provides a peaceful escape that feels secluded yet offers all the modern conveniences you need. Every detail, from the thoughtfully designed interiors ( luxury linens and upscale furnishings ) to the inviting outdoor spaces ( like the picturesque fire pit or bed swing on the porch ) has been crafted to inspire relaxation and peace .
Additionally, for those seeking a historic getaway, Abner’s Retreat, a charming cottage, sits on a storied farm in Tellico Plains, offering a unique glimpse into the past while providing all the comforts of today. It truly is a very unique stay .
Guest access
Scott mansion Farms is almost 200 acres of private property . Our guests will have full access to 50 acres including wooded trails and our vineyard ( feel free to pick some grapes ) the trail head is marked at the wood line behind the cottage .
In order to maintain the privacy of the owners , we ask that our guests not explore beyond the vineyard edge . Trails will be lined with markers to guide you . Be mindful there is also a rock cliff with no security railing in the forest . Proceed with caution. Children should not go close to edge .
• Please:
• Bring back all trash and dispose of it properly.
• Keep children with an adult at all times.
• Wear proper footwear for uneven terrain.
• Be mindful of fire ant hills and wildlife.
Other things to note
Please remember we are in the country and even though we have our homes inspected and treated by a licensed pest control professional there could be unwelcome insects in the homes. Lady bugs and stink bugs are an issue in this area
No drugs or smoking of any kind is allowed on premises.
Security deposit and a 3k fee will be charged for violating this rule .
Security cameras are placed around the farm to monitor exteriors for our guest and homeowners safety .
Photo ID is required upon booking to verify the identity of the individual checking in matches that on the reservation, all guests are required to provide unless they are a minor .
No confetti or glitter anywhere in the home or on the property.
A rental agreement will be required by the owner for all guests to review and sign prior to booking your stay.
