Terry welcomed us and showed us to our room, which was as described in the listing: spacious, comfortable and clean. He gave us the key and seemed very relaxed about our possible late return in the evening. Breakfast was very good with refills of tea/coffee and Terry gave us a choice as to when we wanted it, which we arranged on arrival. Overall Terry's service was welcoming, efficient and discreet. The neighbourhood was quiet and our satnav took us straight there, so easy to find. We would stay here again.
Great location, helpful hosts and good value for money. Appreciated the en suite bathroom!
Nice comfortable en suite room with a great breakfast. Very welcoming hosts and good value all round. Recommended!
Terry & Cheryl have a lovely home in the beautiful town of Chepstow. We very much enjoyed our stay here as they were a welcoming couple. We did not spend a lot of time at the house as we were visiting friends so spent most of our time out, but whenever we were there, we found them chatty and helpful.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Toiletries and towels were provided. The continental breakfast was generous and was lovely to wake up to after a late night.
Very friendly couple. Felt relaxed and the house was in a beautiful area. Complimentary breakfast served on both mornings of us being there. Would stay there again. Thanks for making us so welcome
When we arrived Terry just said "Make yourself at home." We did! Thanks for the use of the refrigerator! Breakfast was casual - Terry put everything out and we could just do our own thing. We enjoyed the conversations with Terry and Cheryl. Thanks so much.
Terry and Cheryl were incredibly easy going and friendly hosts. They welcomed us in their home like friends despite the late hour (9ishpm) had a nice chat in their lovely conservatory before heading off to bed where we found a lovely clean room with en-suite. The bathroom had shampoo and body wash just like in a hotel, they prepared towels and we woke up to coffee and toast in the morning. Had a lovely chat over breakfast with the New Zealand ladies the stayed in the other room and took notes about places to visit so that was a bonus really. They shared local information about the places we wanted to visit and we took their advice and went off to Barry Island which was a great place to visit. Could not have asked for better hosts! Thank you Terry and Cheryl for your hospitality.
