Confortable and snug.
On the 7th (top) floor with lift/elevator.
The pretty terrace, with its magnificent view overlooking Paris, is ideal for meals and relaxation. The city's beautiful monuments can be admired at all hours of the day and night.
The apartment is situated at the foot of the Sacré Coeur with the funicular railway to take you to the top of the Butte Montmartre. It is located in a small, calm, street away from the bustle of tourist activity.
Owing to where it is situated this charming apartment provides further advantages :

The apartment has just undergone complete renovation and has recently been placed on AIRBNB lists.
A fully equipped kitchen opens onto the living room. For convenient preparation of meals all appropriate facilities are provided (refrigerator, grill, oven, induction cooker, saucepans, kettle and other kitchen utensils).
The bedroom, with its double bed (140X200 cms), will enable you to sleep comfortably and wake up in the morning to a marvelous view of the Parisian sky-line. A small, secluded balcony provides an ideal setting for your morning cup of tea or coffee.
In the living room there is an extra sofa-bed (140X190 cms) for the benefit of one or tow more guests if required.
There is a small, well-lit bathroom with shower and toilet.
The following facilities are also provided : TV, Blue-ray player, Wi-Fi, vacuum cleaner, electric iron, wardrobe etc. There is also a launderette further down the street.
We should be happy to assist in providing any further information that might be required (what to do, what to see etc).
We are eager to welcome our first visitors and obtain feedback on their stay.
Please may we rely on you :
- to take the waste bins down to the space provided on the ground floor (on the left at the bottom of the stairs),
- to make proper use of the shower curtain to avoid any risk of water spilling out into the bath room,
- to close the windows and turn off electric appliances before leaving,
- to lock the door when going out,
- to water the plants,
- to leave, on departure, the books, guide-books, and maps left at your disposal during your stay.
Please enjoy your stay both in the apartment and in the common areas with the customary respect for the courteous and peaceful neighbourly relations that ensure a tranquil environment for all.
Martine met us at the door, assisted us upstairs and showed us around her beautiful apartment . She also gave us instructions how everything worked, what was available nearby... a terrific introduction to our 2 week in Paris.
Martine's apartment was perfect for us, clean, bright, well furnished, 3 bakeries with fresh croissants within a short walk, and convenient and delightful in every way. Even the cosy elevator. We enjoyed our 2 week stay there, and it made our visit to Paris very comfortable for us. The location is very close to 2 different subway lines, one which takes you directly into the center of Paris, and the other to sites that are in the outskirts. We are in our golden years and after a morning of being tourists, it was convenient for us to return each afternoon for a rest. But the ultimate glory was a glass of wine on the terrace, enjoying the spectacular view, and feeling like we owned Paris.
Martine was very welcoming and obliging - waiting for us outside the appartment and allowing us to speak French (even though she obviously speaks good English).
The appartment is light and welcoming and very well equipped; the views are wonderful.
The area suited us very well - metro very short walk and lots of restaurants and shops nearby.
We had a great time.
Martine was a most friendly host. She waited for us by the side of the building and provided directions to supermarket, metro and airport, etc. The place is a sunlit, cozy apartment with a wonderful view of Paris. Everything is clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is located in a relatively quiet street, yet close to the Anvers metro, Sacre-Coeur and is about 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. We love our stay very much.
Martine made us feel extremely welcome when we arrived and patiently waited as we took it in turns to go up the little lift.
Upon entering, we were blown away by the view, even though we had seen pictures of it before hand.
We felt guilty every time we left the apartment as it was taking us away from the view ; ) The apartment is very cosy and we felt at home almost immediately. After long days of walking around with sore feet having the flat to return to was great.
Its very close to Metro stops, supermarkets and patisseries. We will definitely, definitely be returning.
Im jealous of all who will be staying at this place from now on.
Martine greeted us and showed us up to the lovely apartment. It indeed did have a magnificent view and we were able to enjoy the views of the city day and nite. The apartment is charming and very homey and comfortable. We were able to enjoy our coffee and croissant in the morning and the kitchen had all we needed to make several simple suppers. The location was convenient once we clued in on the metro and bus lines nearby. It is an interesting neighborhood in Monmartre, one block from Sacre Cour. Merci beaucoup Martine.

Merci Martine!
Martine was very nice and the flat was really pretty! The view was exactly like the pictures on the website. There was everything we needed and some charm on top. Martine gave us a bit of grace on the time for leaving so we could visit Paris once more on our last day. All together it was perfect for us and we would like to come back. Thanks Martine!
About the Host, Martine
I was born and grew up in Paris, and lived there for many years.
Today I live in one of the nearer suburbs and travel up to Paris regularly to visit friends or go to an exhibition, while carrying on - now more as a hobby - with what was once my main professional activity : creation of jewelry.
Objects of beauty and traveling are some of the things that I value most in life. And traveling has given me many opportunities to appreciate the value of a warm welcome and a friendly presence to provide assistance if required.
It is in the same spirit that I would like to welcome travelers who also share these values.
My son Nicolas living in the Montmartre area for 20 years. He also would be able to extend a warm welcome; and with his knowledge - in a professional capacity - of the film industry and the Parisian scene he is well placed to provide information and advice on what to see and where to go.
