Nice and peaceful. The logistics were very easy too. Would recommend.
Of all the places I stayed in SF over the past 7 months, this was probably my favorite. This studio is the perfect size for someone on their own or a couple. It's in a great neighborhood, right across the street from a park. It is very clean and has a beautiful deck, Apple TV, and complimentary drinks/snacks.
This studio apartment is as cute and delightful as it appears in the photos. I loved the bed right next to the french doors looking out onto a private deck. Views of the city from the windows and a park directly across the street are definitely enhancements. This is a great neighborhood with an easy walk either to Fillmore or Divisidero with great restaurants, coffee houses and cute boutique stores. My favorite find on Fillmore is a fresh yogurt store called Fraiche. The building itself is beautiful and clean, well taken care of and the apartment is darling, clean and peaceful. I will stay here again if it's available the next time I come to San Francisco. Michael was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions that I had. I highly recommend you stay here when you visit, it's in a perfect spot and is a lovely space.
It was my second stay in Michael's studio and it was perfect once again. I always stay there if I am in San Francisco for business and almost feel like home already.
I'm happy to join the avid fans of Michael's wonderful studio apartment. All the small, but graceful touches in this beautiful space was so appreciated during my San Francisco trip to visit my family. I especially loved the kitchen, which had organic eggs, milk and butter, along with juice, water and fruit. But my favorite, and new obsession, was the charming copper tea kettle! I truly felt as though the apartment had been customized for me in every way. Michael, Many warm thanks for making my stay in San Francisco so special and and I hope to meet you on my next visit.
Mike was a great host. I loved the studio. It was perfect for my business trip. Great terrace for working in the sun and he even put some stuff for breakfast into the fridge. Bagels, eggs, milk.
After two weeks he organized some cleaners as well.
I would always stay there again. The area is the best in San Fran.
We absolutely loved the apartment, which is beautifully presented with very comfortable bedding and other furnishings. We were in SF for a week-long conference and found the apartment the perfect, quiet space in which to relax in between busy days. Michael was a very accommodating and friendly host, enabling a very last minute booking and providing everything we needed. Pacific heights is a very nice, safe neighborhood with amazing views over the whole city. I would highly recommend a trip down to Baker Beach through the park and breakfast in one of the nice cafes on Fillmore street, which is just a short walk from the apartment.
This apartment was just perfect. My daughter and I came to SF to celebrate my birthday and decided we wanted to live like locals versus booking a hotel, and I'm so glad we did. The location is superb and in such a very safe and lovely neighbourhood. The houses are AMAZING. The restaurants that Michael recommended were spot on as well . We loved the Woodhouse Fish Co...and it was the start of crab season so we had an experience there! The bottle of red wine and assorted items in the fridge and on the shelf were an excellent touch and very much appreciated. Michael was fantastic to deal with and went out of his way to accommodate our requests for an early check-in and later check-out so we didn't have to drag our heavy bags everywhere.
The apartment itself was immaculate and had real style and quality. And the bed! OMG. The sheets and duvet were so soft I didn't want to get out of bed.
I'm already telling anyone that is going to San Fran to book this apartment. And I intend to come back so I know where I'll be staying :)
Excellent experience staying at Mike's place. Great communication and Mike went out of his way to help us out. Location was perfect, Apartment is well appointed, very comfortable with many nice additional perks. Will definitely stay again when we visit San Francisco.
We absolutely loved this apartment! It is a charming apartment building that is 3 stories and across from a park. The building is secure and very well maintained. Access to the apartment key was a breeze. Opening up the door to the apartment and you at once notice the charming interiors, well decorated. The king size bed is ultra comfortable with a matrices topper and luxurious sheets and down comforter. I slept as well here as home. The french door opens to an outdoor patio with comfortable furniture. You can latch the door open to enjoy fresh air. The views of the city are expansive. The efficient galley kitchen offers everything you could ever need. Michael was dear to leave us milk, half n half, waters, orange juice, bagels, eggs, bowl of fruit and even a bottle of wine. We were so busy eating out that we did not enjoy much of the food at the apartment, but it was great to know it was available. I loved the espresso machine! The apartment was absolutely perfect for a single person, especially a single woman as the neighborhood is very safe, or a couple. We were impressed with how quiet the apartment is. We were never bothered by traffic or neighbors. It is a very peaceful and special place. We had a rental car and did not ever have any problems finding parking near by. We never had the opportunity or need to meet Michael, but he is very responsive and provides his "lists" of restaurants and things to do in the city. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! 5 Stars!!
