Lynda was a fantastic host. From the moment we arrived at the manse to the moment we left she made sure that we had everything that we needed. The manse is a beautiful get away - the rooms are clean, lovely decor and extremely comfortable. You definitely need a car to access the house but for us this wasn't a problem.
We will definitely be back.
What can I say? I wish that I could have transported The Olde Manse to each of my destinations. The accommodations and service where excellent! No better breakfast in all my travels. My first choice should I return to the area.
This B&B provided lovely accommodations just off of Loch Ness very near to the Loch Ness Monster exhibition. The Old Manse is located off of a very busy street, so it is not possible to go for a walk or a run from the B&B. However, Lynda was very accommodating to suggest a walking path near the B&B to access. Lynda provided a lovely full Scottish breakfast and spent much time talking to us about tourist attractions and local culture and politics.
Lynda was the perfect host! Very warm and friendly. The Rooms were exactly how they were described, a fantastic stay - highly recommended to all air BNB users!
Our stay at The Old Manse was everything we hoped for a so much more. The location, just outside of Inverness and on Loch Ness was amazing. We drove a bit down the road to get the boat for a tour of Loch Ness with a stop and tour at Urquhart Castle. Accommodations at The Old Manse were very very comfortable. Lynda was a hostest with the mostest -- lots of personality and fun to talk with, helpful with local lore and all things Scotland, and a terrific chef. She set a standard for breakfast that was not to be matched on our visit.
Lynda was wonderful. She's a sweetheart and the home is lovely. We truly enjoyed our stay here. It's not too far from Inverness, and it's quiet and peaceful.

About the Host, Lynda
This is us, we have been married for ages, have 2 sons, 2 springers and 2 businesses! We started the B & B about 12 years ago and our property management company about 8 years ago. Alan is a decorator and has spent most of those years renovating and decorated according to my wishes!!!
Love hearing about the different cultures of the world from people that pass through our home every year.
We spend most of our time making our businesses work, dealing with son dramas and walking our dogs. Life is good!
