Thank you for hosting us at your home. We felt comfortable and safe with the location. We even walked around the neighborhood. Edwards place is quite a gallery. Awesome art decor.

We had such a wonderful experience at Edward's home. His house was really easy to find and not far from all of the things we wanted to see in LA. We came in late but he had everything ready for us and the room was super clean. There were bottles of water, a mini fridge, a bottle …

This review is more for people traveling alone: I was supposed to spend 2 nights there but only spent 3hrs instead because of the neighborhood which was scary and seems unsafe for me. The uber driver who even dropped me asked me to be careful so i wouldn't recommend this place if…

Response from Edward:
Thank you Dienba, We do really care about our Guests, and we are disappointed that you didn't have a good experience here. I'm not really sure why an uber driver would make a comment like that, other than we have to assume he wasn't from around here. I have lived here for over 10 years, and my neighbor for 30. We are very much a safe place, where neighbors know each other and spend time together. That to me is the very definition of a "neighborhood" Had you come in during the day, and not late at night, you may have seen the beautiful park around the corner "Ernest Debs" or the beautiful old Catholic School not 1 block away "Our Lady of Guadalupe". You may even have taken a short walk up Huntington dr. to a Mom and Pop owned and operated restaurant "Hecho y Mexico" for some amazing and authentic home cooking. For us, travel is always about opening up to the world, opening of the mind, acceptance of different places. If you want things to to be like home, safe, why travel ? If you choose to look at it a certain way, the world is not safe place. We have had over 200 guests that have written about our little neighborhood, zero incidents, 2 years. I think we will keep the description of our place as is. Safe Travels Dieneba, and PURA VIDA !

Cute and cozy home with private rooms on lower level. Hosts were very welcoming and had everything well prepared. There were bottled water and wine available for their guests. As it's in an urban area, there are urban noises (traffic, occasional sirens) but this should be a conce…
