Interaction with guests
My mom, lives next door. She will great you and give you the tour of the property and key. If you have any questions about events going on while you're staying, supermarkets, restaurants, recreation we'd love to share with you some of the places that we know will be worth going to. Just ask!
Other things to note
Due to weather that changes constantly we request that the umbrellas on the deck be closed if you are not using them. Rouge winds have claimed three in the past-they take flight and end up smashing in the backyard. Also, cushions are on the lounge furniture on the deck. If you want them dry after a passing rain storm you'll need to take them inside ( bag provided). No one wants to sit on a soggy cushion and they could take a while to dry.
- Please return the cottage in the same condition as it is given to you. We do a GENERAL CLEANING and SANITIZING and to set up for the next guests. Dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher is provided for your convenience.
- Not suitable for children 2-14.
Born and raised in R.I. in the house next door to my cottage, where my mom still lives. I've been living in Los Angeles for 29 years working as an interior designer. I bought my cottage in 2007, did a massive makeover on it, incorporating colors, textures and finishes that I love- natural, rustic, coastal and modern . Much of what is incorporated in my cottage comes from my appreciation and love for the water. When I'm in L.A. I enjoy hiking, biking, surfing and anything outdoors. Architecture and art are always great sources of my inspiration and influence to my designs. Love trying new restaurants from different cultures. I've traveled throughout Europe, been to Brazil many times. I enjoy the luxury of a 5 diamond hotel but still can appreciate the experience of camping in a tent, for one night or two ; )
