We had a great stay in the farmhouse on Dee's property. She gave us really good maps and directions for some beautiful walks in the area. The house was rustic but well-equipped.

The place is outstanding, quant farmers house with breathtaking views. You HAVE to hike when you’re there - would have loved to have seen some animals but what you’ll mostly find is the trails they leave behind. Dee is a great host and I learnt a lot about them and farming. I’d r…

I clamoured up the "2nd gorge" with my two dogs. There isn't a cut or marked trail and it's really wild - definitely not for the faint-hearted (or anyone scared of spiders). It was absolutely exquisite and hardly believable that such a "jungle" exists just 2.5 hours out of Jobur…

Thanks so very much Michelle for taking the time and effort to give us such a detailed review - we really appreciate it as we enjoyed meeting you both! It is difficult to keep all the paths maintained in this area where everything grows so fast but we will be working on that very long path to the 2nd gorge soon again. Take care, both of you, Dee

Thank you Brett - we really appreciated your booking and so delighted to know you will be back. Next time we must take an opportunity or two to show you more of the farm, especially some of the spots at the top of the mountain as well.

In Nelspruit for the Kaapsehoop Marathon, we were (at the very last minute) looking for some R&R in an "outdoor" setting not too far from Nelspruit for the evening after the race and we got exactly what we wanted from Dee, who was very accommodating. The house is pretty much wh…

From the NGO world, I worked as an HR consultant until finally giving that all up to concentrate fully on helping to manage this goldfish and koi farm. I feel incredibly blessed to live in this and precious and beautiful valley and get great pleasure sharing our farm with visito…
