The place is absolutely wonderful and Iqbal is a great host. It's very comfortable and beautifully kept, and Iqbal makes you feel really welcome. I recommend it!
Iqbal wasn't in , but his friend, daksha was very friendly and informative when we needed help. Room was good and the photos of his place are exactly like they are.
Auto rickshaw / taxi drivers had slight problem finding his place whenever we had to use them , but worth it as in a very good neighbourhood and shops nearby as well.
Iqbal was a great host and the place was nice, private and quiet. especially for a first time traveler to India, he was extremely helpful in showing me some basic information as well as going way beyond the extra mile to help me with things like local mobile phones.
The immediate neighborhood was also nice. Especially for a first time traveler to India, he was extremely helpful in showing me some basic information such as rickshaws to the yoga center I am attending, cultural events and food places in the area. And I felt comfortable asking him even the most pedestrian of questions. He went the extra mile to help me with local mobile phones and had lots of suggestions for day trips. And to top it all off, he was an all around nice person who takes interest in you as a person.
I ended up leaving a couple days early to be closer to my yoga center, but clearly there is nothing within his control to change that. I would have happily stayed longer other than that. One nice addition to the place would be AC or improved mosquito netting for the evenings. Overall, I value my time at his place and feel lucky to have started my journey with a unique, caring free spirit like Iqbal.
Really nice stay.
It was our first trip to India, and Iqbal was a perfect first host to discover his country, and in particular Madras.
We had long and cool discussions about music, design, life style and travels...
He brought us to a great restaurant - nice thalis !
The flat was pretty and comfortable, in a nice area.
We would definitively recommend this airbnb !
Thanks for eveything Iqbal.

My friend and I enjoyed staying with Lqbal very much. It's not only because his place is lovely, which is decorated with taste, and is in a nice neighbourhood, quiet and secure; but also because he is a wonderful host. He is very considerate, extremely helpful and generous. A truly artist and an inspiring person to talk with. He helped us to get SIM card active. He took us to the nice local restaurant. He showed us his art works and wonderful music. And he gave great traveling advice. Thank you Lqbal! For making our first Airbnb experience so special and we do hope we could stay with you someday again.
