This was a wonderful place to stay! Like its description and all of the glowing reviews, the hosts were friendly; the space was clean; and the location was convenient. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, and we're so glad to have been in such a great space!

Wonderful host and great accommodations. My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights, this was a perfect launch pad to explore the city. Walking distance from the train or bus, tasty Portugese bakeries a half block away, clean, quiet, stylish and free street parking. Very friendly helpfu…

Accommodations were better than expected. The apartment was well appointed and very clean. Ricardo and Tais were very communicative and quick to respond. We accidentally left something behind, but they let us know right away, so it was just a matter of turning around to go back t…

The place is super cute and modern. And Ricardo & Tais made us feel at home. We were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to catch the bus right into Manhattan from the apartment. This is a must stay if you are planning to visit NYC

My trip to NYC was great. But I have a mixed reviews about the accommodations at Ricardo and Tais. The positives: The apartment looked like the picture, but was a little smaller then I anticipated. But the size worked out well because there was only two of us. And it made for eas…

Response from Ricardo & Tais:
It’s clear you do NOT know how Airbnb works. Once you make your reservation you receive an email with the exact location. It’s your responsibility to check the address where you are staying. Also, before making a reservation you can read all our reviews, which some explains we are about 25-30 minutes from NYC. Either taking the bus or the train. It’s your responsibility to ask us how the public transportation works. Another point to leave clear is in reference to our price or the price to get to NYC, our guests never complaint, so you should research better next time. Our apartment is attached to the main house and we never had a complaint about that. We kindly ask you to reduce your volume at 2:38am. Any well educated person, seen that the apartment is attached to house and in total silent would think about it and not be loud. However you were the extremely opposite. We will include the silent hours in our house rules. We never had that issue before, but now we learned. We believe you never own a house otherwise you would notice that every room had a air vent for the central A/C of our house. We added the window A/C for our guests to be more comfortable. Once again, we kindly asked you to turn off when leaving the apartment, but you prefer to play the victim and mentioned in your review instead of writing to us privately. Again, we will make sure to include that in the house rules. Thank you!

Really easy to communicate and the place was very clean. The bus stop to get to New York City is really close to the place. Also, there’s a coffee shop nearby that’s super inexpensive and amazing. We tried this place on our last day and we wish we would’ve known earlier. I don’t …
