The little studio that Rasha offers was wonderful. It was so peaceful and comfortable. The spa bath and shower were heavenly... we didn't want to leave! Personally, I'm always worried about the comfort of the bed. It was very comfortable and we both enjoyed one of the best night's sleep we've had in a long time. The garden is private and so beautiful. We opened our windows at night and could hear the gurgling of the water-feature outside. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice and safe. I would highly recommend it!
A hidden gem in the heart of Los Angeles!
Rasha was a wonderfully gracious host and helped our stay to be a memorable one. From recommendations of places to eat to the little touches all around, everything was fantastic.
What a perfect spot for the quiet and relaxation we were seeking. Room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing and is just as pictured. Having the big soaking tub was a treat in itself and the private patio with trickling fountain was a nice touch too!
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a central location to just about everything, and wanting a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.
I have to say, I didn't have the greatest time actually. The room was lovely but I didn't read the house rules clearly before purchase. The house rules say that there are no guest of guest allowed. Certainly not reading the rules was my fault but I had a guest over within the first few hours. The host was very sweet when she let me know of the rule. She was actually very nice but I felt bad. The next day, she reminded me of the rule while I was on the phone. I'm guessing my voice made it sound as though another person was there. I became paranoid about my noise and became very uncomfortable there. I tip toes around as quietly as possible until I couldn't take the pressure anymore. I had a spa service at 1 point that was to be a home visit but because of the No Guest rule, I had to rent a hotel room. I left 3 days early. I knew I couldn't get a refund on the last 3 days so I didn't even bother letting the host know. When I was officially gone, 4 days latter, the host sent a bill for a chair in the room. It broke under her but she accused me of breaking it and then putting it back together. That would've been impossible as I'm sure if a chair had broken under me, it would've made an incredibly loud sound. I also don't know how I would put a chair back together again without any tools. However, I did sit in the chair once and it didn't really feel safe so I got out of it and never sat in it again. My weight might've weakened it. I can't prove one way or the other but I don't want to be in a fight with people I don't know so I paid it just to be done with it and the host. Again, the host was very nice. Very sweet and its a tranquil, and beautiful place but I didn't have a great experience. I felt uneasy about any noise I might've made and really I felt like a bother. Being accused of breaking something and then being sneaky and fixing it, was insulting. But again, the host was very nice and pleasant. This place would be perfect for someone who is very quiet and doesn't intend on seeing visitors. That wasn't me and so I chose the wrong place this time.
I am disheartened by this review as it's the first negative one for the property.
I went out of my way to accommodate Gabby even welcoming her guest to stay for the evening. Disregarding my concerns for how loud they were and that she clearly violated the no guest rule but requesting she observes the rules moving forward.
The next day I knocked and checked in to make sure her first night was pleasant unaware she was even on the phone. Over the week I checked on her via text to ensure she was comfortable and she assured me she was.
As far as the chair goes. Something clearly happened to it and she agreed in our correspondence to that. I just pointed out that I would have appreciated if she had let me know upon checking out instead of me finding out by sitting in it and having it collapse under me upon touching.
There also are few other discrepancies in her review. I send her the airbnb conflict resolution form within 48 hours of checkoutnot 4 days later as she claimed. (Airbnb will only accept it within 48 hours of check out)
And Gabby left the premise the night before her checkout date not 3 days earlier.
All in all I am really sad Gabby had a negtive experience. But I believe there was nothing I could have done to change that. I wish her the best on her next trip!
Rasha was a very gracious host, and the suite was really comfortable. She greeted us and made us feel welcome, answered our questions, and gave us tons of privacy for the remainder of the week. The location is great, walking distance to great shops and restaurants, and close to major freeways. The bathroom is AMAZING and felt like a spa. Super clean and luxurious jacuzzi tub and shower. We loved it!
Loved the space. Perfect spot in studio city. Very quiet.
Rasha was an excellent and very helpful host. The place is a beautiful and peacefull oasis within walking distance of Ventura blvrd's dining and shopping highlights.
