A private studio apartment on the street level of a three story house, surrounded by shady trees. Its location in the heart of downtown Sacramento provides wonderful walking access to the state Capitol, many restaurants, the R-Street corridor, Golden 1 arena, parks and much more.

Parking is street parking and is free on this street on weekends. I can lend you a parking pass during the week.

The space
This is a large and comfortable private studio apartment, approximately 500 square feet, with a full bath. It is the first floor (street level) of our three story home. Entry to the apartment is through a decorative wrought iron privacy gate at the front of the apartment. There is a queen bed, a seating area with TV, an eating area and a desk as well as a mini-kitchen with a microwave, coffeemaker, toaster and small fridge. We will provide coffee pods and bottled water for your comfort and convenience. We have wi-fi. Our place is good for anyone looking for a place to stay in downtown!

The apartment is on the street level and completely private. We live upstairs in a separate unit. You may hear us walking or on the stairs, but we make every effort to be quiet.

Other things to note
The space has a kitchenette as described above and not a full kitchen.

As this is a city apartment you may also hear some occasional street noise.

My husband Jim is a retired businessman and current artist and writer and I retired from a long career as a Dental Hygienist. We moved to the Sacramento area in 2002 to be nearer our family. Until then we lived in the San Francisco Bay area and in Pacific Grove near the beach. We loved to travel and did quite a lot of that, but now are settled in here and will let the travelers come to us! We live very near the Capitol and I walk in the Capitol Park nearly every day. We are also very close to many restaurants and eat lunch out often. We live in the heart of the city and we take advantage of the many things to do and see here. We have several grown children and their families close by and see them frequently.
