Located ON Abbot Kinney Blvd (not “adjacent to” or “steps from”), our house is a spacious, comfy perch from which to explore Venice. Drenched in natural light and open to the cool breeze off the Pacific, you’ll feel like a local as you take to the two beach cruisers we’ve provided for you. The private front patio is perfect for grilling out, having a cocktail, or even sparking a little fire in the fire pit. Three big bedrooms make our house roomier than most, with a queen in the master and 2nd bedroom, and twin beds in the 3rd. Two bathrooms, one with a tub, a refinished kitchen and a spacious living room with exposed beam ceilings make this groovy, bright beach pad a total charmer for friends hitting the town or families wanting to kick up their heels.
Some wag just dubbed Abbot Kinney “The Coolest Street in America” (barf). I would say the street Danny Zuko grew up on is the coolest in America, but that’s just me (Rydell High from “Grease” is none other than Venice High School. Still looks the same! Check it out on Venice Blvd at Walgrove Ave). Our house is a five-minute walk from the explosion of shops, restaurants, coffee houses, pilates studios, vintage birdfeeders, fixed-gear, difficult-to-stop bicycles ridden by people in oxford shirts and skinny pants… A few of our Venice faves: Hal’s Bar & Grill. Been there forever. Get the spicy penne pasta. Abbot Kinney Pizza is good for a slice on the sesame seed crust. Best non-trendy sandwich in Venice: tuna with jalapeno from Winward Farms on the circle. They also make the freakin hugest quesadilla you’ve ever seen. Zinque at Abbot Kinney and Venice Blvd is a great spot for a drink. The French Market has the best breakfast in Venice: le cheval. The owner is 100% French; she doesn’t so much help you as she endures you. And you wouldn’t be in Venice if you didn’t have a hefeweizen at a picnic table and watch the clouds roll by at On the Waterfront Café at the north end of the boardwalk.
Venice is a special place, despite the recent hype about how hip it is. It’s complicated and simple at the same time, and it’s so small, the best way to see it is definitely on a bicycle. There’s the beach, Abbot Kinney, Main St, and you’re a quick car or bus ride to Santa Monica, Culver City, the Getty Center, LAX and more. Our cozy house couldn’t be more perfectly located for you to explore Venice and LA. Consider yourself invited!

What a fabulous apartment. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you need and just a short walk to the great shops and eateries on Abbot Kinney. Slightly longer hike to the beach but only $8/9 in a cab if the walk seems too arduous.
If I return to Venice Beach I'll definitely be staying here again, I cant imagine anything could be better!
Very cool place to stay. Very clean, comfortable, and a great location.
Great experience as this was my first airbnb experience! The host Kirk couldn't have made it any easier with detailed info on checking in and info about our stay prior to travel. The house was very clean and has a beautiful rustic feel perfect for the beach area. If I'm ever in that area I would love to stay again at this place. Thanks again Kirk!
Fabulous place, great location and amenities. Lots of sunlight and nice furnishings. We brought our 2 and 3 year olds and they were very comfortable and enjoyed the extra toys left for them. Kirk was a great communicator and very responsive!
We just returned from our holiday and i have to say that it was a pleasure to walk into Kirk's beautiful apartment. Sunny, spacious, clean, great location, movie options on tv great for kids! Just a lovely place to call home when you are holiday. We would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend it. Thanks Kirk.
This rental home was perfect. Comfortable and large enough to accomodate 5 of us. The location was great, walking distance to all that Venice has to offer. Parking was easy. Kirk was very responsive to all our inquiries. We had a great time and will definitely be staying here again. I highly recommend this home for your L.A. vacation.
My friends and I loved staying at the Venice Perch! The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, has all of the necessities, and more! Street parking was easy. The neighborhood is nice, safe, and quiet. Kirk was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to inquiries. I would highly recommend staying at this place, and will look it up next time I'm in the LA area.
Fantastic spacious place with an unbeatable location. Kirk was helpful and recommended some great spots for us to visit. Would definitely recommend.
Exactly as set out in the ad, this apartment was GREAT.
Bright shiny and clean with a relaxed feel - a perfect foil to hectic LA.
Plenty of room for 2 teenagers + parents. We are more than happy to recommend this apartment!
This place was perfect!! The house was clean, spacious, and equipped with things like spices, toiletries, towels, wifi etc! The location is ideal if you want to shop, stroll, hang out at the beach. Venice is a great area. We felt like we were at home. Perfect for larger groups or families. Accommodates children very well. We were so impressed the next time we visit LA we would love to stay here! I should also mention Kirk was very easily accessible and wonderful to rent from.
