Kim and Rob's place was so cozy and welcoming! The house is right next to a beautiful walking trail and has a great backyard for bringing a dog. Kim was awesome with communication and replied right away when we had questions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in the Los Osos/Morro Bay Area.

For the price this house is worth the stay. Its location is good and right next to the Elfin forest which makes for good morning and evening walks. The rooms were large and the beds were sufficient. Kitchen could use a few more things but overall worked for what we needed. The living room was a great place to gather in the evening to watch TV and drink wine. The house itself could use a few improvements to make for a better stay. The shower curtain needs to go, the inside curtain is moldy the outside curtain is too thick. There is no light in the shower so good luck showering when the sun is down. I think a clear curtain would help this some but still not great. The rug in the bathroom also needs tossed as it was very old and looked like it didn’t get washed often. The towels had a mildew smell and need replaced. I would suggest buying all white rug and towels so they can be bleached each time. The house was somewhat clean but really needs a deep cleaning. Tons of cobwebs and dust in all the corners. All the windows were without screens and the open windows were full of cobwebs and spider webs. There was 4 of us for 5 nights and we were only supplied with 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 almost empty roll of paper towels. Not something that was a big deal but really shouldn’t have to go and buy that stuff when renting a house in my opinion. The backyard is big and could be enjoyable however the yard is in major need of sprucing up as the weeds had over taken most of it. I think that if the above were fixed as many of the issues are discussed in previous reviews this house could be fantastic.

Nice clean home with plenty of room for six of us. Had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Nice deck in back but side yard needs attention.

Loved everything about this home! The pictures do not do it justice. I took my adult sons and future daughter in law for a long weekend getaway and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. When we weren't out exploring we were enjoying wine and pasta dinner on the large table outside, board games inside, late night chatter around the firepit. Great location with the Elfin Forest right out the front door. This was by far one of our favorite vacation spots and we would definitely go back.

Cute little cottage in a great location. One house away from the Elfin Forest (nice walk, nice views). Loved the fact that pets were welcome, our dog loved the whole place (especially the big backyard). Three bedrooms - the back bedroom had a bunk bed, which made my 5-year old very happy. We brought everything for cooking and there were enough pots, pans, etc. to bake and cook various and sundry things. There wasn't a proper cooking knife, but rather a couple of serrated steak knives, which did the trick (note: if you're super-picky about this, take one!) but my wife cooked and baked the whole time we were there, so she made it work. :) Living room was stocked with various board games and a few books, very cozy. WiFi worked okay. Communication with hosts was excellent. Kim responded to texts immediately/very quickly. The house is about a 10 minute drive to the Morro Bay area. We went down there a couple of times for dinner. Really beautiful area. My wife liked that she was relatively close (San Luis Obispo) to a Target and Grocery Outlet to get groceries and items that we had forgotten. All in all, a great stay! We would definitely come back!

Check in was easy. The house was a great size for 4 guests. The back yard needs some attention but has a large deck. Kitchen had most of what we needed, could use a few more supplies.

Cozy place in a convenient location with a great back yard, with BBQ fire pit and outdoor dining. Quiet cul de sac right at the elfin forest trailhead. Nice and clean inside but pretty basic

We are teachers who LOVE to get away from it all. While we are at home in LA, the allure of the central coast is too much for us to resist. It truly makes us happy to know that others can also enjoy the peace and relaxation we feel every time we open the front door of Casa de Osos.
Our motto is stolen from a very popular shoe company and to avoid legal trouble we will not disclose it here. Suffice it to say, we like to go do things. Swiftly. When we are not spending time at Casa de Osos, we are traveling or spending time with friends and family.
