Edward's studio is the perfect room for those looking for a quiet area centrally located between downtown & Hollywood. The area was really cool with great restaurants just blocks down the road on Sunset Blvd. The room is exactly like in the picture which is nice because you get what you see- it was very clean and just right.
A good location, and everything went as planned.
The place looks like the pictures.
This place is perfect and I would highly recommend it! It is clean and inviting, and Ed is very flexible with the times! Though it was a quick trip in and out of LA over 3 days, it was a perfect place to be, just outside of Downtown and a great place to walk around and run in the mornings!
The place is great! Didn't get to meet Ed but thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Clean room, good location, and a responsive and accommodating host.
Edward was a very thoughtful host who left the front light on as well as the AC. The studio is tucked a little ways behind the main building in a hip neighborhood. Street parking can be tough if you're coming back late at night with street cleanings on Thursday and Friday's. Best to take an Uber/Lyft if you plan on going out late.
The apartment was a great base for memorial day weekend. I had a rental car and the street parking was fine. I got a space in front if the building whenever I got back, which was late at night. The neighbor that shares the wall was loud (there was a group) but it was a weekend and I'm a city person (from NYC, lived in Miami) so that's normal to me. The water pressure was fantastic, everything was clean/neat, and the place was bright. I saw almost no pedestrians and nothing felt walkable to me so I can't say it was as nice a place to walk around as other neighborhoods I've stayed in out in LA, but it was very easy to get around by car. Edward responded to my text about the apple TV pretty much immediately which was greatly appreciated. Overall, Edward's apartment is a great place to stay if you need a solid base and plan to be out and about in LA.
Ed's studio was the perfect base camp for my LA trip - the neighbourhood has an endless choice of cafes, bars and restaurants for daytime and nighttime, and all the sites are no more than a 15 min drive away.
The studio itself is also perfect and fitted with everything you may need: wifi, fridge, aircon, Netflix! There's also a laundry within the complex which is super convenient. I was staying on my own and had ample space.
Ed responded to all questions really promptly and made sure I had everything I needed.
I'll definitely be recommending this space to anyone I know coming to LA!
