Or stroll on down to Lookout Park, and take a relaxing long walk on the beach all the way down to Padaro Lane, homes of many famous people like Kevin Costner.

Summer was a great hostess! Her home was very quaint & cozy. Great view of the pacific & great location to downtown Santa Barbara, Montecito & the wineries. Would definitely stay here again when visiting my daughter in Santa Barbara.

What a gem. Throw back beach cabin that helps one slow down and enjoy what's in front of you. No pretense. No cheese. Just goodness. Summer was easy to work with, communicative and rightly proud of her place. The only downside - road noise from the 101.

Summerland is a cute little town about 10 minutes south of Santa Barbara. Several good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk. The house has a nice view of the ocean and is very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Quiet location. Checkin/out was very easy.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer's beautiful little cottage. It worked well for our family of four, with two small children. The house is not large but feels open and airy, which was particularly nice on a long rainy day. The views are gorgeous in every direction, and it was a quick walk down the hill and under the freeway to a park and beach. The only downside was the surprisingly loud highway noise, which is not specific to this house, of course. It really only bothered us at night. One improvement that could be made is the bedding -- upgraded mattresses and linens. Otherwise we loved our stay! Thanks!

Summer's Summerland retreat is absolutely charming and her special little personal touches really make you feel like you're staying at a friends home. The fireplace is my favorite part.

I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and have lived here in Summerland for over 30 years now. I love this area, the beach, the weather, all the great hikes, and being so close to the city of Santa Barbara, yet living in a small friendly community at the same time.
