The entire house was completely renovated in 2015 with a blend of modern rustic relaxing comfort, special attention to the smallest details and 5 star luxurious amenities throughout.
On the main floor (second floor), in the living room, enjoy a roaring fire in the unique circular fireplace while gazing at the breathtaking lake views. The house has new furnishings . The kitchen is all brand new and fully equipped with everything you need to make memorable meals. Off the kitchen you will find a half bath, a dining area that easily seats 6, a sunken living room with a 40" TV with Dish Network or just look out at the splendor of Lake Tahoe through floor-to-ceiling cathedral windows.
The 1600SF house has two levels - the main living area with kitchen, dining room, powder room, sunken step down living room and adjoining master bedroom with full bath; and the lower level with two bedrooms with a full bathroom and laundry area.

This wonderful home is located prestigious Fulton Acres, Carnelian Bay, which is located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City on the north shore of Lake Tahoe (Dollar Hill / Ridgewood area). A wonderful location for families because this home is located at the end of a street where there is no traffic, so children can safely play outside the house.
Enjoy all of Lake Tahoe's many outdoor activities within minutes. The cabin is located in the heart of North Tahoe just 1/4 mile from the lake and 15 minutes from world class skiing (Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, North Star, Incline, Diamond Peak, Homewood, and others). It is also closely located to a wide variety of indoor activities being located within a 15-minute drive to casinos and 20 minute drive to Truckee, and 5 minutes from Tahoe City and one hour drive to Reno.
Pets are not allowed unless pre-approved by the host. If a pet is approved as a guest, they are NOT to be left alone in the house under any circumstances unless they are kenneled/crated. We allow a maximum of one house trained dog. Our cleaning service charges an additional cost to clean after a dog has been a guest in order to insure that as much pet hair, dander and odor is removed in order to be respectful for our next guest who may not be a dog lover. If a dog is approved as a guest, there is a $20 per day fee and a special offer including a contract addendum will be sent for your approval.
For those with allergies please note the owners do bring their dog to this home therefore this home is not recommended for people with pet allergies.
All reservations require a minimum 2 night stay unless otherwise noted
Our Property Manager will meet you at the property to provide you with the key, check ID's and get you all settled in for a wonderful vacation. If our property manager is not available to meet you, you will be provided with the code for a lock box which is located onsite.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with the BEST neighbors, who mostly live year round, the house is located on a very low traffic and private cul-de-sac street. We are only one block away from the forest and miles of hiking, biking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing tracks. The house is centrally located about 5 miles from Tahoe City, 7 miles from Kings Beach, 18 miles from Incline Village and 22 miles from Truckee.
Shopping including Safeway and Save Mart are located in Tahoe City. An abundance of fine and casual dining is located in both Tahoe City, Carnelian Bay, Kings Beach and West Shore.

Public transportation (free shuttle) is located about 3/4 mile down the road and the house is located 6 miles from downtown Tahoe City
Other things to note
There is an elastic bungee cord based electric bear fence over the front door. Please turn off the power supply on the green control box to the left of the front door by sliding the switch to "off" then remove the bungee cords. Please put the bungee cords back on - one per hook and crossing of the cords please - slide the power supply back to "on" and the green light will come on letting you know that the bear deterrent fence is now armed.

*** NO pets are allowed IN OR AROUND our home at any time UNLESS approval is requested PRIOR to booking and the request is pre-approved by host. Violation of this will result in full forfeiture of your deposit and any additional charges should damages occur. If a pet is PRE-APPROVED as a guest by the host, the guest agrees that are NOT to be left alone in the house under any circumstances unless they are kenneled/crated therefore crate trained. We allow a maximum of one house trained dog, maximum 50lb.
-Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood, so please NO Parties. Quiet time is after 11pm and will be strictly enforced by the neighbors and our property manager.

If you require an early check in or a late check out please contact us at least 48 hours prior so that we can make sure that there are no conflicts.

Our cleaning company normally will be arriving within one hour of your scheduled departure to make sure that the house is prepared for the next guests.
You will receive one key to your rental home upon arrival - our property manager lives next door and may be available to greet you and check ID's, if unavailable we will provide you with instructions to entering the day prior to arrival.
Guest responsible for confirming reservation through AirBnB MUST be in attendance of trip. We do not accept any third party reservations on behalf of another - this will be verified at check in.
Please bring all of the rental paperwork, INCLUDING A GOOD MAP, snow chains (winter only☺), warm clothing especially good gloves with you!
Please be sure to leave the keys in the lock box when you leave.
This is our own family home where we also live so we ask that you please respect it.
Please NO SHOES inside, only smoke outside, and leave no cigarette butts on the deck or forest floor. We are adamant about this.
**Any traces of cigarettes means the loss of your entire deposit.
If you need to smoke indoors, please rent another house.
• Lodging Deposit: A security deposit is collected in addition to the rental
amount. The deposit may be used to remedy Tenant’s default in payment of rent, repair, replace or return personal property or appurtenances exclusive of ordinary wear and tear, return furnishings to original position, additional cleaning, replace amenity keys, re-key unit if keys are not returned and for long distance phone calls. A $250.00 charge will be assessed for lockouts after hours or if lockout assistance is required at the rental unit. If no damages or additional costs have been incurred the deposit will be returned in full.
We are not responsible for “forgotten” or lost items.

Cleaning: $200 cleaning fee per stay. Our housekeepers are legally paid and therefore they receive all of the cleaning fee for their professional services. You can enjoy a spotless house knowing that no one was taken advantage of to get it that way. The house is set up with linens on all the beds, ample towels, soap and toilet paper in the bathrooms, towels, soap, dishwasher soap and paper towels in the kitchen. Our cleaning staff will perform a departure clean. We request you leave the home in a tidy manner.
Our home is equipped with bedding and one set of towels per person. We provide a “starter" set of paper products and soaps (hand soap only). We do not provide shampoos and body soaps nor other personal toiletries. If you need additional supplies they can be purchased at the local supermarket or the nearby Dollar Hill 7-11. There is no daily maid service. If you require daily maid service this can be scheduled for you for an extra charge.
Please keep in mind that this is a private residence and not a hotel.
• NO PARTIES: Our home is located in a quiet residential area and may NOT be used for weddings, receptions or parties. Any loud parties could result in eviction and forfeiture of entire rental amount and security deposit.

If a dog is approved as a guest, there is a $20 per day fee and a special offer will be sent.
++ Snow Conditions: You are renting a home in the high sierras. We do not have any control over the weather or road conditions. We will try our best to have the snow removed from the driveway and pathways of the home. The house has professional snow plowing service and they plow every time there is 6 inches or more of snow accumulation. They plow the driveway and the street berm. If your vehicle is in the driveway they will plow up to your vehicle.
++ Bears & other wild animals: All houses located around the Lake Tahoe Basin are in active bear country, and also have active coyotes, porcupines, skunks other wild animals looking for food, and our home is no exception. It is IMPERATIVE that during your stay you take necessary measures to protect you, your property and our house from possible injury or damage. Bears & other animals including loose domesticated dogs roam the Tahoe Basin in search of food therefore you must do the following…
1. Do not store any food or drinks in your vehicles at any time. Even in winter when bears should be hibernating, they have been spotted foraging for food.
2. Do not leave any garbage especially anything food related inside your vehicle or outside of the house. We have special bear/animal proof garbage shed with two garbage cans inside. All garbage must be deposited inside the garbage shed and the door properly shut. If you have trouble operating the garbage shed door please call us. If you leave garbage outside of the garbage shed and any animals proceed to litter the yard, street or adjoining lots, a $50.00 clean up fee will be assessed. Garbage day is Thursday of each week. If the garbage shed is full and you cannot put any more garbage inside, please call us immediately so that we can make arrangements for earlier garbage pickup.
++ Firewood: Firewood is NOT PROVIDED. You can bring it from home or purchase it at the local super markets.
++ Pet Allergies: The property owner has dogs. Our cleaning staff tries to clean the house of any pet hair or dander but 100% removal is impossible. If you or anyone in your party has pet allergies, it is recommended that you make alternate lodging accommodations.
